Upon This Rock (Shelton Heights Series, Book 4) Paperback – March 1, 2011

The message in this story is inspirational to anyone who has struggled with restarting their lives. The main character Rocky, is released from prison and has no one or nothing to turn to. Rocky is trying to turn his life over to Christ but things are more difficult than he thought they would be.Rocky is beginning to trust his faith but mysterious events cause him to doubt the little faith he has built. Since deciding to give his life to Christ, Rocky is blessed with a tremendous group of friends who show him what it is like to have a real family.Rocky never loses his faith through the many trials and tribulations he faces. This book will encourage anyone who has ever been at rock bottom to never give up.

In a word...Wow! Now, this his how you go out. If you have to end a series (which I'm not ready for the series to end yet by the way), this is how you do it. I fell in love with this book and I have not read all of the Shelton Heights books yet. I started with the Lyons Den and then this one. I will have to go back and read the rest but I love the gifted writing style of this author. She is by far a favorite of mine. Read it... you won't want to put it down. I was up with Rocky throughout the night reading until 3am because I just had to know how it would end. Great read!

Wow - Mrs. Kendra you did it again! I like you being predictable in that way! You wowed us again! I wanted to call off of work to read this book. I loved it! I read it in 3 days. I wish you could come out with another book every three days! This is def a must read - it brings joy to your heart, tears to your eyes and a blessing to your soul - in every chapter it leaves you hanging on for more! God's blessings to you!

I started reading series 4 book when i realized it was series 4 not series 1! I stopped to purchase series 1,2 and 3 and none would appear. Kendra is a wonderful writer. I've read the grace series and absolutely loved it, so i know the upon this rock is going to be just as awesome. Can someone tell me how to purchase the three prior series for kindle. I typed the info in and it said there was no match. I'm looking forward to reading kendra's other novels.

I really enjoyed reading "Upon This Rock ". The tension between Rocky and Kenyatta, the message, the humor and the mystery is wonderful. I especially loved the scene with the Women of Hope Group where we find out about Spirit and Anastasia (LOL). Kendra Holmes remains one of my favorite authors.

I always look forward to new works by Kendra Norman-Bellamy and she never disappoints. Kendra's books always leave me longing for more readings by her. Keep up the excellent work,...I also enjoy letting others I know, know about this wonderful writer so they can experience her delightful works as well!!!

I have been a fan of Kendra Norman Bellamy for years now. Her Christian Fiction books never disappoint me. I can't wait for the next one, particularly if it continues the Shelton Heights series. I also enjoyed her "Grace" series. Ms. Bellamy is a very talented and anointed author! KUDOS

I was familiar with the author, but my library did not have the fourth book of he Shelton Heights Series. So glad I decided to check with Amazon.Com, price was just right. I normally donate the books that I purchase to the my library when I finish with them. Thanks Amazon
