Amazing Grace
God has a divine mission for our lives but it's up to us to submit or decline. Know one told us it would be easy to be a child of the most high God. There are things we would rather be doing or places we would rather be going, but if we listen to that small voice in our mind instructing us not to go that way or tread lightly when enter we could avoid a lot of pit falls. But like most people even Christians we would much have things quick and easy. We all know that anything that's to easy has a catch. But in life you learn that good things come to those that wait. Plus you have time to think and use gods wisdom. And of course we know that you reap what you sow. God has know respective person. And easy come easier go. If we hold on to faith God will surely work it out. So let go and let God. Be Blessed. Doris

It is soo refreshing to read great stories without having to compromise your Christian values
If you read Book 1, you will read the whole series and then you will find as many of Vanessa Miller's books you can find to read! Her stories draw you in immediately. It is soo refreshing to read great stories without having to compromise your Christian values. I don't want to read book with explicit sex and obscene words, nor do I want to be preached to/at. Vanessa gives you plenty of choices through her many well written books where none of that does not take place. She uses scripture throughout the story to show that God's word can be applied in every area of our lives. Get the whole series because you won't want to wait 1 minute when you finish one to get the next one!!

Great Read!!!
I was new to Vanessa Miller when I read this book and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. This book was a page turner. I read it in 2 nights. What I loved most was how she was able to take real characters (people we would know of or about) and weave a story that is deeply rooted in Christ and yet not be preachy. There are alot of "Christian" authors out there whose books that Ive read but whose books I cant recommend since I myself an a little uncomfortable with some of the unnecessary sex scenes or language but not with Vanessa Miller or Jacqueline Thomas. I now have the entire Rain series and they are all top notch. My sister-in-law who isn't a big reader is now calling me up and asking when V Miller will be out with her next book. Im now reading Forgiven by her.Anyways its a great read. Sista can tell a story. BUY THE ENTIRE SERIES!!!!

New to Christian Ficition
Abundant Rain was very interesting and a blessing to read. I enjoy reading books by Vanessa Miller. I think this book will be a good gift to a newly married women or young women. Because the book really shows the reader how sometimes we can get so caught up in our relationship with our spouse and forgot that God blessed you with that person. And its great that you love them so much but God comes first in everything. A few times I went to bed late because I just needed to get through the next chapter. Also, this book is #2 in the Rain series.

God is Always with Us
The warfare between heaven and hell is so real even when we can't see it, but Ms Miller provides a vivid picture of what it might look like. She has helped to remind me that God answers the prayers of his people though slowly sometimes.

A very good read...
When I read the first book (Former Rain) I couldn't wait to read the follow up (Abundant Rain) and true to Vanessa Miller's writing style she has blessed me once again! I could definitely relate to the characters in this book! I believe there comes a time in every persons life, they wished they had a second chance to get it right with someone they care about very deeply, as well as, have an active role in the healing process. I love the fact that Vanessa is real with her readers and gives us all encouragement when it seems like the odds are stacked against us.

Miracles Do Happen!
When the story first starts Elizabeth and Kenneth have put the past behind them and are so happy. It's heart wrenching at times what all they have to endure on their Christian walk through the next section of the story. Sometimes when you are going through an extremely difficult time in your life is when you need prayer warriors to be calling out your name to the Lord. Great second book of the series!

I remember reading Former Rain years ago and didn't continue ...
I remember reading Former Rain years ago and didn't continue the series. This time I ordered all of the books and cannot put them down. When you begin to read the first page they catch your interest and you can't put them down. That is how to write a book because with some the first chapter doesn't do anything to keep you interested.
