What I want is not just a handsfree carkit to answer the phone, but also a speaker to play music while my cellphone is paired to this speakerphone.I originally ordered the single speaker model, but that model cannot play music. After contact the seller, seller suggests me about this dual speaker model with mute button. The sound quality is even better than the previous model. Also the appearance of this model is also better. I am glad to have this one with less than $10 extra.Pro1. can play music (not in the other model)2. dual speaker so the volume is a little louder and more clear with some bass.3. mute button is helpful when needed4. pairing is very easy. It will auto-connect to the cellphone after turn on.

It's not loud enough to conquer road noise inside my pick up. People have a hard time hearing me, I have to speak above a conversational tone.

It works well, call quality is as good as other bluetooth speakers. It would have received a better review but the functionality I purchased this for (the mute button) is flawed.I have to take a fair bit of business calls, while in rental cars, so I wanted a bluetooth speaker that I could take from car to car, and I wanted one with a mute button so that I could mute and un-mute without going to my phone.The problem is that when you push the mute botton it make a noise on the phone call that can be heard by anyone on the call, so they can tell when you are coming on and off of mute.One, that is annoying for the others, and two, in my opinion it is unprofessional for me to announce "hey I was muted because I am not giving you my undivided attention".I keep this in my wife's car (no built in bluetooth speakerphone) for personal calls and purchase a Jabra for business use.

Sounded like everything I would need in a bluetooth speaker for my older car. Due to my hearing, was only hoping it would be loud enough without having to strain to listen. Worse. Even after following ALL directions perfectly it was apparent it had a defective battery. Also, not able to get it to pair up with phone. Sent it back and decided to give a 2nd chance as I REALLY wanted device to work. Read and re-read instructions to make sure I did everything correctly. Charged overnight, red light off. Turned on, light blue. Paired with cell as it indicated on phone it was. Tried calling from home landline 2-3 times, cell worked, device didn't. Still showed it on cell as a paired device. Tried multiple times to connect with BMR 4.0 and cellphone timed out. Pairing light continued to function as it should. The 1st time in this process after about 15-20 minutes I decided to turn off and read instructions, AGAIN. Confirmed that I was following directions correctly, AGAIN. Turned on the BMR 4.0 and lo and behold! The Red battery indicator light was flashing, low battery. I tried again from the beginning but realized it was futile. AGAIN another defective battery. Product? Won't know as it never was able be set up. For sure, defective batteries in each BMR 4.0 device. From sitting on shelf I don't know or just defective batteries and defective devices. Big promises, great price, VERY POOR delivery!! I gave it a 1 star as you have to select something in order to rate it. Definitely a NO STAR rating. Don't waste your money on this or you will just have run the risk of working or not. then have the hassle and inconvenience of returning your BMR 4.0 Bluetooth car phone speaker. You can't say you weren't warned!

This Bluetooth speaker for phone and music, is a good deal for the price. It's very easy to use, has decent sound quality, and very easy to set up. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality, as many of these type speakers don't have good sound. It allows you to carry on a phone conversation without raising your voice. Works best on your visor, but can be placed elsewhere. I really enjoy this speaker.

This works fine for the price I paid and what I needed it for…sound could be better for talking but I use mainly for listening to audio books. Setup was easy and it connected well to my Google pixel.I will probably keep.

I love this, it links up good. I drive a 64’ VW & when I get a call... I can hear them & they can hear me while I’m driving, so that’s pretty good. I listen to my daily devotionals & music & it also sounds good enough, it’s what I expected it to be, I’ve had a few times where it connected to my phone, but my music wasn’t playing through it, I just turned it off, started my music, turned speaker back on & it connected. I’m glad I bought it...

I had this device for about 4 months but it no longer works. It powers on just fine, and pairs with my phone, but I can barely hear any sound coming out of it. And the sound is at maximum. This used to be an intermittent problem but now it happens every time. I expected a product like this to last longer.Here are the pros and cons:Pros1) Very clear sound, both incoming and outgoing. I can hear caller very well and they can hear me well. Road noise isn't a problem. I also used this for GPS navigation from my phone and it was very loud and clear.2) It came with a very long USB cable so I was actually able to keep this plugged in to a charger in the car while it was mounted to my sun visor. Battery was therefore never a concern, it was charging every time the car was running.3) The buttons are easy to see and use. I also like that it had a simple on/off sliding switch.Cons1) Of course the fact that it died after 4 months is not a good thing.2) It takes a little while to pair with the phone after being turned on. Not a big deal. But even after it pairs, it often doesn't actually receive sound. You often have to turn it off and back on 2-3 times before sound actually comes out, which can take some time. Not awful but an annoyance.Anyway I would have given it 4-5 stars as I was pretty happy with it, but with it dying so quickly I can't. I'll at least give it 2 stars because it was a nice device while it was still working.
