A cell phone that any "old dinosaur" can use and rest assured with having...
Admittedly I am what is nowadays considered to be an "old dinosaur" I guess. I have for years been very reluctant to get any type of cell phone and especially a "smart phone" mainly because I wasn't smart enough or "tech-savvy" enough to know how to use one properly. When you consider the facts that I grew up in the days of a "party line" phone in my parents house as a kid, and even when I gave service as a Vietnam Veteran we all went through compass & map reading classes before the advent of G.P.S. systems---I just was not very receptive to the whole concept of using a portable telephone. But thanks to this Samsung Jitterbug Touch 3 - "senior citizen" - (I dislike this term also...) phone and the outstanding customer service people at GreatCall, I actually have learned to like and use this phone very much now. It is a high-quality smart phone but does not make me feel ignorant when using it because it's so simple to operate. Also the extra added advantage of having emergency medical help available and the assistance from the GreatCall folks 24/7 is so reassuring to have. The very kind folks at GreatCall were so extremely patient with my ignorance and took the extra time to help me out anytime that I needed it and carefully explained everything that I wasn't up to speed on. They even credited my account when I did not realize initially that I could use my home WI-FI for internet usage on the phone as well. I would personally highly recommend this phone and the super service from GreatCall for anybody that is from my era or "cell phone reluctant" folks such as myself.

OBSOLETE DEVICE. UNUSABLE ANYWHERE ON EARTH.
1. MISSING ITEMThere was NO Wall Charger (the 2-prong plug attachment) shipped, even though this was clearly shown in the photo on Amazon website. The guides included were not the ones represented in the photo either.2. UNUSABLE DEVICEThis is a 3G phone, which is to say it is a useless piece of inoperable technology. You can turn it on or charge the battery, but it cannot be connected to any, repeat ANY, network as 3G has been phased out all over the world. Why is the seller trying to pass this off on unsuspecting consumers looking for a simple to operate mobile device? The great review video for this 'easy to use' product is from December 29, 2014 (Over 8 YEARS AGO!). It cannot be used at all in 2023!This archaic video review was very misleading and needs to be taken down immediately! We trusted the honesty, integrity, and reliability of Amazon sellers and trusted Amazon to ban fraudulent misrepresentation in their app and on their website.3. COMPANY MISREPRESENTED The buyer is directed to call GreatCall to set up a new account. The company is now called Lively, and has not been known as GreatCall since May 2021. We thought it was a different cell provider that still used 3G network service for seniors.4. PRICE FAR EXCEEDS VALUEWe called Lively and were told the Jitterbug Touch is obsolete. There is no way to connect it to any network now that 3G service has been discontinued. Surely the seller must have known they were passing off unusable tech for a near-new price when it is worthless obsolete unusable unserviceable junk. This is fraudulent misrepresentation on Amazon's app. It isn't even worth $0, certainly not the seller's asking price (+ shipping in addition!). It should be clearly stated up front in the product description that it is OBSOLETE and will be UNUSABLE if purchased.5. DECEPTIVE MISREPRESENTATION/ CANNOT BE USED OR RESOLDWe looked online to see where it might be of use to someone, and discovered all countries of the world have already completely discontinued 3G network service. So it cannot be resold to anyone honestly without DECEPTIVE MISREPRESENTATION as a usable device. We should not be expected to pay to return this unusable product, and it should not be passed off as a usable device. All sales of this as a usable phone anywhere on Earth are fraudulent.

Great Cell phone and service for the price. Good customer service so far.
It's my first Smart Phone. Pretty easy to learn to use. The instruction booklet is good to learn the basic functions but does not explain details. Like, I have not been able to figure out if I can upload photos directly onto my computer without emailing them to myself first. Had trouble with my bank app taking photos of the checks because the camera would not autofocus until I learned to tap anywhere in the field first so they were too fuzzy to record.Overall, I like the Great Call Company and this phone was incredibly affordable. I'm hoping as the operator I will get a lot "Smarter" over time. I've only had it for 6 weeks.

Complicated
Althought this phone has many good features, I discovered multiple problems trying to set it up for my use. I bought it because it was touted for seniors . . . and it's the most complicate and inolved cell phone I've ever had! Finally, I have managed to find out how to use it enough to find what I need, punch the right buttons, etc. But after several weeks with it, the first one in deep study to learn how to use it, I am at least able to use it for the most part. But the journey has been a difficult and complicated one for me. Perhaps others have managed better than I have, but one of my prior phones was a Samsung, and was easy to use. I still have not mastered all with this one.

Expensive monthly plans!
This phone, that is supposed to be geared for the elderly and their fixed income, has a quite expensive monthly plan! And it is not adaptable to any other servers like Verizon or Cricket or ATT. It's quite a disappointment. The phone itself seems nice but before you can really try it, you must buy into one of their plans. The advertising "come-on" is $18 a month, but call minutes are quite low. The "normal" plan considering minutes for calls is about $50 with this phone! I don't recommend this for seniors living on social security.

Great phone, but no Canadian usage
The phone would be a 5 star item if we lived in the states, but it can't be used in Canada so I had to return it.
