24 INCH Pen Leash - Carabiner ATTACHES to CLIPBOARD OR Notebook. (CLIPBOARD and Notebook NOT Included)

After going through 4 pens in a period of 2 years I finally lost my old pen leash and had to replace it. I keep it on a clipboard at work and it is constantly dangling with rubbing cord against everything. I saw very little deterioration of cord or clip. I used 4 pens all the way until empty. I think 9 dollars is too expensive but somewhere around 5 bucks is acceptable. This is better than the cheaper ones you will see and it is 24 inches which is perfect not too long or short.

Hope this helps someone as I read all the reviews and didn't see this addressed! I was looking for a PENCIL leash to add to my attendance binders for each class. Needed it to be pencils so that I can erase if a student comes in late. These come with bic pens but I hoped that they would work with pencils also. And YAY, they do! I've tried both regular pencils and mechanical and they hold tight inside the bic cover on the leash. The carabiner is quality and the length of the leash allows ample room to sign in.

I use it to have customers sign their receipts on it in drive-through. I feel that the carabiner could have been smaller, and the rope tied to the pen could be much shorter.However, those are all adjustments anyone can fix to their liking. Other than that it’s a good product.

I teach a lab based class so my students come in and then start moving around the room daily. It makes it hard to take attendance so my students sign in when they enter. There are days I have gone through 5 pens in 4 classes with my clipboard. This has solved the problem! I love it! You can change out the pen and someone could still steal it, but it seems to get the message across that you want it to stay there. Smart product!

I purchased this to use in my classroom. Students are expected to sign out when they leave and the pens and pencils were always missing. This is a simple solution that makes it fast and easy to replace the pen when necessary but can be moved to other clipboards or bags to keep a pen handy. I wish I had purchased the 5 pack to begin with. I need to order a few more.

I'm a pilot, and I like to have a way to leash a pen to my clipboard so that I don't risk dropping it in turbulence. For many years, I just flew with a homemade solution - a mechanical pencil having a pocket clip, and some string tying the pencil to my clipboard - but I figured this product might be a nice upgrade.While this product does what it claims, it does have a few drawbacks:1. The 24" leash is too short for me.2. The included pen is low quality and doesn't write if held upside down or in really cold weather.3. The cap hasn't securely held other pens/pencils I've tried.I think for me, my homemade solution requiring just a few feet of string is probably better.

Perfect for daycare sign in sheets and worth the price to avoid the issue of pen caps possibly being on the floor of a school or daycare, where such caps could become choke hazards. Make your daycare workers happy and buy some of these for them, so they can quickly and easily update the clipboards with your child's information. I ordered 5 but might get more because they have been so popular.
