2 LB. Assorted Salt Water Taffy - Gourmet Taffy by Taffy Town

A friend gave me some of this taffy before and after trying a few different flavors i fell in love with this brand of taffy. I bought this big bag of taffy and it didn't take long to eat up the whole bag since all of the taffy is good. The price of the taffy was reasonable and the quality was good, i will definitely be getting another bag of this taffy in the future!

Ordered on 3/16 and received today so fast delivery. This is my third time getting the swt except instead of one pound I got 2 this time because I really do love them and can go through them SO fast, addicting!! They were again packaged and wrapped properly. Nice and soft, great texture...chewy and delicious as always. Very happy. All the 15 flavors I remember..root beer, green apple, blueberry?, banana, cherry, licorice, neapolitan, peppermint, chocolate, vanilla, grape, cinnamon, caramel, orange cream, and watermelon. Counted 124 pieces...and this time around I had a good amount of all flavors..except only 3 of the rootbeer, which is ok. Lots of bananas and that was a nice change..one of my favorites. I've read some reviews that complain about not getting enough flavors and that they expect more seeing as Taffy Town has many...but these are the flavors to be expected..just saying. So, everything turned out perfect again, and the flavor is great. Do not have one complaint. Banana and Licorice are my favorites this time around (I know licorice, weird, but so good! lol) Can totally tell the flavors apart also!! YUMMY...I'll get again of course! :) Aug 15...ordered again..Very melted this time but it's hot out so..expected it. Nothing a little time in the freezer couldn't fix. Still so very good.

Just came from the mail box, opened and already have eaten 4, one more about to be unwrapped... So: easy to unwrap, flavors are fine. I eat mostly organic food, was concerned about quality after reading some negative reviews. Sure, these aren’t the healthiest of treats, but if you like salt water taffy, you won't be disappointed.There are a couple of flavors that seem artificial - grape and a pink one.Can’t be too critical because I ate 3 pounds in 4 days....

I would have given this a better review however the taffy was not fresh at all. It was very hard unless you warmed it up in your hands for a while before eating. I am aware in colder conditions the taffy will be hard, but my home was not cold at all and I let the candy sit for a few hours after receiving it.The flavors are wonderful! I am from the Monterey bay California originally and this product taste just as good as what I would get back home! I would like to try it again sometime to see if I can get a fresher batch to experience.

I like soft taffy. This is pretty good. Good, strong flavoring. When I ordered this, I was hoping there’d be a good variety. I don’t like watermelon flavor (love fresh watermelon, but despise watermelon flavoring). I don’t like grape flavor (love fresh grapes though). I don’t like apple flavoring. (I’m allergic to apples). I’m not fond of root beer. Blueberry is ok, I guess. I LOVE licorice, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, Neapolitan. Guess what my bag held an abundance of... watermelon, grape, apple, root beer, blueberry and something else that I can’t remember now but I didn’t find exciting. There were only 3 licorice! Come on! (Have you noticed there are ALWAYS fewer licorice jelly beans, too?). Only 4 Caramel! Sigh. All the flavors I like were delicious though. I only wish it was more of an even mix. If I order this brand of taffy again, I’ll order a whole bag of one of my favorites next time. These arrived quickly and were nice and fresh.

I grew up with vacations on the Jersey shore so have a strong bias toward Jersey shore salt water taffy. The taste of Taffy Town is quite good but some flavors are so chewy I tossed them for fear my fillings will come out.It would also be nice if they defined their flavors on the bag ( Jersey taffy prints it on the wrapper).Taffy Town is a bargain however because you pay no shipping charges while in Hersey taffy the shipping costs are as much as the taffy and I’m not kidding.

Received 11/10/2015 - Exp date 9/10/2016 from Taffy Town, Inc,, Salt Lake City, Utah. Super Fresh...soft...flavorful...chewy...none melted or stuck together, and each taffy neatly wrapped, 2 pound package well sealed. All great wonderful flavors. Melts fast in my mouth. 15 flavors. Note; made in nut & gluten free facility. Can't stop suckin' 'em, Taffy Town Taffy. Note-UPDATE...Put them in open container, and next day...ANTS were climbing all over them......never had ants go after candy before. They sure liked this taffy...had to carefully wash each piece and keep in fridge, now. Took 2 weeks of ant killing bait to rid ants from home !

When I moved to the East Coast, I was introduced to real salt water taffy by a locally run business that unfortunately went out of business. Since then, I haven't been able to find a good, salty taffy. Many claim that they are salt water taffy, but the salts almost at the bottom of the ingredient list. The closest that could compare was the taffy Cracker Barrel was selling. Taffy Town's is the best I've come by now.Bottom line, this is a TRUE salt water taffy (which is extremely hard to find). Will definitely only buy this stuff if I ever want some.

Product arrived on time.They also used real sugar is this taffy formula.

We were visiting New Brunswick when we happened on a potato chip factory and candy store near the longest covered bridge in the world. We bought some salt water taffy and loved it so much that when we got home I was quick to order more. Taffy town`s seems the same as the ones we had. I like them but I think that I overpaid as I had no idea what 2 pounds meant. There were 127 in the bag which equals 42 cents each! If I eat 4, I figure I could have had a Tim Horton`s coffee and a seat in their restaurant. Hopefully, I won`t love them so much that I have to buy more!!
