I ordered this after reading all the reviews. I don't know how anyone could be unsatisfied with its construction. It is very solidly build. It hides under the cabinet very well. You can barely notice it unless you're looking for it. It's a little bit of a pain to install so you need to have basic handyman abilities or know someone who does. It holds all my favorite spices and most in heavy glass jars. But I recommend eventually buying in plastic to take stress off the hinges and latches

Such high quality! Loved it! But had to return it because it was too big for our cabinets (I didn't measure, it was exactly what I had been looking for so I was quick to buy it). I bought a plastic smaller version that fit the size of our cabinets and it's aggravating to use after testing this product and knowing how smooth this priduct is. This product smoothly opens and closes easily. The other product is more of a pain to open and close and when it closes it just falls open abruptly. It's as if it wasn't made for daily use, unlike this product that would be easy to seamlessly use multiple times a day. I wish they made this product in a few different sizes. This was very high quality and exactly what I had in mind when I bought it as a birthday gift for my husband to put his favorite frequently used spices in so he wouldn't have to shuffle through the spices in the cabinet. Please make more in different sizes so we can upgrade and get this one again!

Literally installed in just a few minutes! Looks great, hardly takes any space from under the cabinet, but pivots down so you can get the spices out easily. Fits 16 average size spice jars, nicely organized. It latches on each side to keep it snug against the bottom of the cabinet, and I gave it less stars because the right side latch doesn’t catch as easily and I have to push it extra hard to get it to lock, so I am mildly concerned about the durability. It is also a bit costlier than I had hoped for that amount of materials, but I really wanted it.

We loved these so much for storing our Penzey Spices that we ended up buying 2!!! If you hate pulling your spices out to see what is in the back...buy this!!! Super easy to install and looks like it belongs there, which it does!

We use a lot of spices and this unit keeps the most common ones handy, with an assortment of brands and sizes, we have seventeen bottles in it. It was easy to mount and operates quite smoothly. The only drawback is that it requires two hands to open, but that is hardly a consideration for the convenience and accessibility this unit provides.

Great design and customer service! I ordered two units for my kitchen and one had a bowed back that the spice jars rest on. I emailed the manufacturer and he called me later that afternoon. After discussing the problem, he sent me out another unit! I love the design and it works in my kitchen! I absolutely love them. When I am done with the spices, they are off my counter, under my cabinet, out of the sun and light - Great!

The design and everything is awesome and extremely high quality. My only quibble is it came already finished and it doesn't match my kitchen. I would have preferred an unfinished option. If it had come unfinished (and there were more in stock) I would have purchased another.

I left a similar review for the cookbook holder that is built by these folks, and I felt compelled to do so here as well. I just can't say enough good things about this lovely little piece of engineering. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. It's built from solid hardwood (minus the mounting platform, which is thick plywood). It looks exactly like what you see in the pictures and is obviously engineered to last with solid construction and metal fasteners. It's great to see high-quality, US-built products out there that give you bang for your buck. Mounting the thing is a breeze (took about 5 minutes), and it works like a charm. I love being able to readily access my spices without digging through a cabinet every time. It's an elegant idea, really. That, and it keeps the clutter off my counter tops.To sum it up, if you're willing to pay a little more for a high-quality, well engineered solution to storing your spices, you can't really go wrong here. You definitely get what you are paying for.Update: It's been a year since I installed three of these, and they are working just as well now as the day I hung them up. I don't regret this purchase for a second. They have been used daily and are very handy. Buy with complete confidence!
