SO FUN!
My 3 1/2 year-old son LOVES this magazine, and I think it's pretty cool, too. He'd already been getting National Geographic Little Kids for a year and had been liking that, but it only comes once every 2 months, which is a long time to wait when you're 2 or 3 years old. I read reviews of a bunch of different magazines for his age and narrowed it down to this and Click, and ultimately decided to just get both. Chirp is the clear winner, at least at this age. It's just too fun not to love. My son is VERY academically-minded...he is obsessed with numbers and is already reading, he craves (and actually listens to) detailed explanations of how EVERYTHING works. The descriptions I read of Click magazine made me think it would be a good fit for him, and he does enjoy it (though he isn't interested in the whole magazine, just a few pages of each issue). But he loves Chirp. All of it. He knows (because it tells you in the last pages) what theme is coming in the next issue, and is always asking when, for instance, the Baby Animals issue will arrive. Each issue is filled with activities and short cartoons...things that are engaging enough to grab the attention of a little person. I highly recommend this magazine for young kids! And I did not have the delayed arrival problem that some reviewers have reported. I ordered the subscription during the last week of December and we received the Feburuary issue in a little under 6 weeks from the time I'd placed the order. You can also find free, fun, educational, advertisement-free Chirp online games at http://www.cbc.ca/kidscbc1/games/chirp-games.

Perfect magazine
This is a perfect magazine for 3 years old kids. My daughter loves it. The only problem is this magazine comes without any packaging. It will be nice if at least they put the magazine in a bag to stay clean and in a better shape.

Geat magazine, too long for delivery
This is a great magazine. My 5 year old son loves it, and is thrilled to be getting his own magazine subscription. He is a beginning reader and the content of this magazine is entirely appropriate for his current learning level.Delivery time was terrible. I ordered this subscription mid-August and my son has been asking nearly every day when it would arrive. We just got the first issue yesterday (11/8). I know we should allow 6-8 weeks for delivery, but it would have been nice to at least get an acknowledgement from the publisher that they received the order and were working on getting it out to us. I wonder if it would have taken so long if I had ordered directly from the publisher...?

Granddaughter one loves and now ordering for granddaughter two
My granddaughter loves this magazine and that it comes in the mail just for her. She runs to the mailbox shouting "Chirpy, Chirpy!" when my son tells her she has mail. The adults like it too! Now ordering a subscription for a 3 year old in another household.

Great beginner magazine for the toddler.
The magazine was a worthy subscription sign-up. Kid always asked if there were any "mailings" in the mailbox directed at the child and my answer had always been "yes - here you go" as I handed off a junk mail item. Now - a magazine arrives with various child specific storylines and tidbits of cartoons and coloring pages, etc etc that I can hand off as specifically for the child. Excited every new edition.

Good problem to have.
Great magazine, predictable layout. We enjoy looking for the recipes, the jokes & familiar characters. The only problem I have is that my kid loves them so much we read the same ones over & over.
