Bought this to replace an incredibly old manual set of scales which weren't exactly accurate!It was bought for my parents, as they seemed to be very happy with the inaccurate set they have been using for the past 20 years.This set is quite large, but sits very low to the ground and looks smart enough if you want to keep it out all of the time.It really requires a hard surface to be accurate, as the moment we used it on a carpet the readings dropped by about 10kgs! Speaking on KG's, we were worried that due to these not having the ability to read Stone it might not be so great. We manned up and decided to use kg's and it hasn't annoyed us yet, it's just a change to get used to.So over all, I'm glad that we went for this set. It looks smart, does the job very well assuming you're on a hard surface, and they were fairly priced in my opinion in comparison to the rest of the options on Amazon.

Once you get to a certain age reading the display of your scales is no easy task. I was specifically looking for one that had a display that was both large and also backlit. This is so good i can even read it without my glasses! When it registers your weight it flashes 3 times to give you the final reading and then your reading remains on display for about 5 seconds - even when you've stepped off it. This is revolutionary compared to other more expensive scales that i've had in the past. It also comes with 3 AAA batteries for use which i prefer to those lithium disc ones as they are easier to find and replace. Calibrating it is easy - just step on and off quickly and its automatically sets itself to 0. Its also large - so can easily fit any size foot. There is a button on the back to easily change the units to kg, stone s or lbs. I am 100% happy with these scales - no need for purchasing more expensive versions.Do note that it also comes with a tape measure - mine was cellotaped to the inside of the box when it arrived so i would never have known it was there- i found it accidentally so do make sure you look for it inside the box.

Absolutely impressed by these scales. They arrived well packed in what appeared to me as recycled materials which was a good start. Not that I'm anal about these things but it's nice to see a manufacturer using recycled packing.They're very attractive with a toughened glass top which you see on most digital scales these days. The display is easy to read too as you'll see from my second picture (below) - sorry about my crusty feet being in the picture but I had to stand on them to get a readout - which is far too high for a man of my height (built for comfort, not speed).There is a good English set of instructions which I found useful because it wasn't a straightforward setup. Looking at the scales you'd think it would be but there's a little glitch in the proceedings: I pulled the plastic tag out from under the battery, set the scales down and stood on them - nothing happened. I checked the bottom of the scales but couldn't get a clue to what I'd done wrong. So I checked the instructions and the first item was how to change the battery, so I did that. You undo a little grub screw on the battery compartment, clearly shown on my last picture. Only after that has been removed can you slide the cover off the compartment.The notable factor is that you don't need to switch the scales on to use them. Just stand on them and they give you an instant reading, switching off again a few seconds after you step away.Very much in its favour is the fact that it can be set for kg, lbs AND stones. I have another set of digital scales here which only gives a readout in kg or lbs which is no good for the likes of me who can't do avoirdupois calculations in his head. You can see on my fourth picture there's a little switch on these (underneath) which allows you to easily change from one calculation method to another.In summary then: these are attractive, appear to be well made to a very high quality, are easy to use and look very good in any bathroom - or any room for that matter. They're easy to clean too. As the top is toughened glass all they really need is a wipe down to shift the inevitable dust which gathers. Yes you can use glass cleaner on them too but be careful, stepping onto a polished surface with wet feet can cause accidents.I was supplied a sample of these scales at no charge for testing, evaluation and review purposes. As a result of my endeavours with them I find them to be an absolutely smashing five star product. Not unreasonably priced either

Great item, accurate and looks good. Quick delivery too. Only small critiscm would be it shows only pounds or kg, it doesnt show the stones so i have to use a calculater to divide by 14!

I have tested item many times and cannot fault accuracy. It is astonishingly accurate. With an electronic scale it is important to put it on a level firm floor. Each foot has to be on a firm floor. Mine is on tiles, each foot is on a different floor tile, each time I get on and off the weight is the same. Using a mechanical scale you can only read off to the nearest lb or so, with the electronic version you can see to the nearest oz or 100 grams. If you weigh yourself and then try again 30 minutes later different readings will be given. That is because they can register the small variation due to, for example, perspiration. A mechanical scale cannot register such small amounts.Apart from accuracy, they are very solid, well made scales. They look good, are easy to clean. I am 100% happy with my purchase.

Device works well, giving precise, consistent readings in either kilograms or pounds. Seems well engineered, and it looks slim and elegant. Definitely needs a hard flat surface. Otherwise, the readings are completely wrong. It comes with a 2-year warranty, which is relatively easy to register online. No experience yet of long-term reliability, but the warranty gives confidence. So far, can thoroughly recommend this product..

Ottima bilancia pesapersone, bella da vedersi e anche se la scocca dietro è di plastica è bella robusta, la pedana si pulisce facilmente, ha un bel display illuminato con grossi numeri, a corredo due pile AAA incluse. La misurazione si è rivelata molto precisa, anche salendo più volte, da sempre lo stesso risultato. Pèse personne simple d'utilisation, au design épuré et joli. Le grand cadran bien éclairé permet une lecture aisée, même pour les plus anciens. Après quelques jours d'utilisation, cet appareil me satisfait pleinement et le prix me paraît tout à fait raisonnable.

Rimasto soddisfattissimo per prima cosa dall'estetica, fine e curata, poi dal display grande e retroilluminato (non tutte le case sono sempre poi così bel illuminate) che è un altro mondo rispetto al display di quella che avevo prima. Poi dalla precisione (pesandosi più volte il risultato è lo stesso o con 100 grammi di differenza. Con altre dovevo fare 3 pesate e andare a simpatia, con questa la seconda è puro scrupolo).È anche piuttosto sensibile, tanto da accendersi quando ci sale sopra il gatto (come è solito fare per abitudine sua quando sono in bagno) e anche con quel peso di 5kg scarsi non perde un colpo e tengo anche la sua salute monitorata senza sforzo grazie al display visibilissimo. Scordatevi dover cercare l'angolatura giusta per poter leggere il valore.Come per ogni bilancia consiglio di pesarsi, possibilmente, su una piastrella unica o comunque su una superficie il più regolare possibile. A differenza di altre comunque tra piastrella unica (quindi condizioni ottimali) e posizionata con gli angoli su più piastrelle (dislivello) la differenza, quando c'è, è spesso irrisoria, mentre con altre mi è capitato di vederci kg di differenza.Super promossa

Arrivé à la date prévue. Facile à mettre en place. Pour nous elle est sur du carrelage, on fait juste attention à ce qu'aucun de ses pieds ne soit à cheval sur un joint. Le poids qui s'affiche est correct et identique sur plusieurs pesées successives. Le fait que le poids clignote quand la mesure est stabilisée est un plus. Elle s'éteint toute seule qq secondes après qu'on soit descendu. la surface inox est couleur inox clair vue de dessus mais devient inox sombre vue de profil. Que dire de plus ? 5 étoiles. A voir dans la durée.
