If you're expecting a G Shock, don't. I've seen some bad reviews on the black version of this watch that I think are really undeserving and unrealistic for $35. I'd like to debunk some of the complaints. I think it's a clean, good looking, stylish men's watch with functional and useful sensors. Claims that the instructions were confusing and in broken English were absolutely not true with my example. The thing just has a lot of modes and functions so you just need an attention span longer than a few seconds to read through and figure it out. The compass is perfectly accurate for what it is and would most likely help you in a jam. Would I suggest this watch to perform a critical engineering land survey? No. But it's funny that a few reviewers were upset about the lack of that degree of accuracy for $35. I compared the barometric pressure readout to the local weather station readouts and again it was plenty accurate for common civilian use. Enough to get a good idea of the weather. Overall I think it's outstanding. I wouldn't go deep sea diving with it and don't expect it to survive a drop off a hundred foot tower. However, it seems plenty rugged for your average outdoor enthusiast.

Fairly easy to set and use, easy to see as well, my only negatives. Thermometer is off because it’s is towards your wrist and the altimeter is to hard to set when you live in Denver. It’s preset is around 2200 or 0. I’m not clicking a button 3400 times to adjust.

Solid build. Lots of features if you can figure out how to use them. Miserably inadequate user manual. Was written by someone in China who couldn't speak English very well. Manual needs a LOT more detail with diagrams included. A very detailed video would work also. I have already spent way too much time trying to set it up.

Total pain in the a$$ to set up, I can't change the thermometer to Fahrenheit, I calibrated the compass at my house 2 days later went snowmobiling in the mountains in alaska while looking at mnt redoubt " due west of my location the watch said I was looking ESE and the current temperature was 18 degrees Fahrenheit and the watch ( which I left hanging on my handlebars to make sure it wasnt reading and heat off me) said it was 14.9 deg C ...... Its bulky which I expected, buttons are easily pushed with my wrist and it is 8! Button pushes to get back to be able to see the time and the light stays on for maybe 2 seconds which sucks when you have to to scroll though 7l8 other screens ...... Poor purchase on my part as an avid outdoorsman And hubter,with a family that follows me this watch will be going on its last adcenture back to the seller so they can throw it away after giving me my money back

Overall satisfied. Ultimately you get what you pay for. I didn’t what to drop the money to replace my g shock so was exploring low cost alternatives. I think it’s pretty neat that it comes with all the extra features but the durability is suspect to me the buckle already just randomly came apart. It’s absolutely not bad for the price, only time will tell if it will hold up.

The instructions are a little had to understand, however there is utube videos you can find to help.

Very easy to read and comfortable to wear while hunting.
