Works great with my old AC - Fedders model A7Q08F2A. It is much smaller than it looked on the description photos (which is a positive for me). It uses 2 AAA batteries, which are not supplied (as it says in the description). It comes brand new, sealed in a plastic bag. There is no programming necessary, just put in the batteries and it should either work or not. There is also a leaflet included with basic instructions and a contact email address for the seller if you have any issues.

Picked this replacement remote per my AC model. Happy to say it worked soon as AAA batteries were put in, which I supplied. Beats getting on the stool to reach the unit which is mounted high up in sleeve thru the wall. Satisfied.

I ordered the replacement remote for my A/C unit after making sure that my unit was compatible, and it IS listed. Batteries added, remote DOES NOT work! Product info states: "The remote works without any programming straight out the package once you put in batteries. "So, what have I done wrong??OK. so today I put in NEW battteries, and it WORKS!!! SO happy! Changing my review to 5 star. Thank you!!

I wasn't sure if I needed the remote replace or the air conditioner. The soft function keys on the air conditioner won't work, so this was my only option in lieu of replacing the entire air conditioner. I wasn't looking forward to purchasing and installing a new conditioner during a pandemic. I'm happy to report the remote works perfectly!
