The ultimate stepping stone for new wargamers.
The perfect starter kit for anyone wanting to get into (or in my case, *back* into) Warhammer. The box comes with everything you need to play the game (no paints) and is totally excellent value for money. This set could also be where your hobby starts and stops, if you wish, as it is such a diverse game, tbis could be used as a simple boardgame for quick skirmishes. The rules and i structions are clear and the quality is consistent with Games Workshop's formidable reputation for beautiful miniatures. 10/10 from me.

Great introduction set
This is a great set to introduce you either to model wargaming or warhammer (or just building fantasy setting models). All the models are easy to assemble and there are LOADS of things in the box. Honestly you could buy this and stop.... except you probably won't lol.great buy for someone who is interested but unsure!I don't regret the purchase (note: you will of course need to build and paint the models :) )

Brilliant game.
I bought 2 of these for my grandsons - they were amazed. They loved them and could not wait to get into the game but before you can play you have to make up the pieces to play with and paint them. I wondered if they would be disappointed that they could not play immediately but no, it was even more pleasing that they made the pieces first. It isn't just a game to open and start but that adds to the enjoyment. Really good value for a game but you have to facture in is the cost of paints and brushes. I would certainly buy again.
