FISHER Engraved/Personalized Bullet Space Ballpoint Pen Collection with Gift Box (Blue) 400BB - Custom Engraving with Your Name

I wanted to like this pen but it is surprisingly MUCH too small, both in length and diameter, for a man's hand. It is also smooth with no grooves or shape to facilitate grip. It might be suitable for a child or a small woman's hand. It seems to write well enough... but so does a disposable Bic ballpoint.The engraving was well-done and the delivery was fast. Since I will not be writing upside down or under water or in zero gravity, this pen was just a disappointing, expensive mistake which has already found its way to the junk drawer.

I received it engraved and i love the pen. I purchased in the silver. My name is easy to see. I love the overall style of the pen and that it has the cap which is great to be able to keep in my purse and not have to worry about the ink getting everywhere if something were to happen. I am thinking about getting the matte black on as well for my Agenda i love this item so much. I don't have a lot of favorite pens that i keep or use but this is going to be one to add to my list for a long time. The pen itself is small but by adding the cap to the back makes it feel more comfortable. So for an everyday pen i might look at other styles for a normal size, but for something to keep in my purse for an emergency pen and something i can use to sign than another pen that lots of other people have touched is exactly what i was looking for. I do think it is little expensive but a lot less than some of my other favorite pens i have bought in the past. so overall i think it is great investment for people who like pens like i do.

Having a quirky granddaughter with some non-traditional likes and dislikes, I don't always know what to order for gifts for her. My own children and I have often exchanged "wish lists," helping others buy gifts that we want--but with enough items so there is still an element of surprise.I called my granddaughter shortly before Christmas and inquired what she wanted. While a nice ink pen is ALWAYS something I find a delightful gift, I would never have considered one for her. Since her name has a non-standard spelling, there is no chance I would ever find her name on any mass-produced personalized item. THIS was perfect!She called to tell me how much she loved the pen. I like the idea that, even though it was the most expensive gift purchased for her for Christmas, she will think of me every time she uses that pen!REALLY--I cannot think of anyone who would not USE this pen; some would just appreciate it more than others.

I can't speak for the other colors/textures, but the engraving on the smooth chrome is so hard to see. I was hoping for sandblasting given the price, but it appears to be laser engraved and is almost unnoticeable. I presented the pen as a gift and had to let the recipient know it was customized even after they had taken it out of the box and inspected it. This kind of took the fun out of the gift and makes me wish I had just put the message on a card and saved eight bucks.

I've been a fan of the Space Pen for a long time. Lives up to its name as dependable and durable in all situations. Several years ago, I started using these as graduation presents and would get the graduate's name engraved on the pen. Finding a reasonably priced engraver was becoming increasingly difficult. I came across this Space Pen that included personalization and felt like I hit the jackpot! The color was a little brighter and better than the picture, and the engraving was spot on and looked great. I will definitely order again for future gifts!

Rather than a true engraving that has depth in the metal of some kind, the customization is more of a surface annealed stamp that my suspicion is with repeated could show wear. My suggestion is to be weary if the pen is going to be used on a regular basis or in environments where you might scratch or otherwise affect the surface.Quality pen otherwise, writes flawlessly and as advertised! The customization can be light on the silver pen however it's readable and done precisely.

My husband ordered this pen for me and I absolutely LOVE IT! He had it engraved for me with my mom’s name and it turned out beautiful. If you try to order from Fisher directly they will not engrave this specific Breast Cancer memorial pen which I don’t understand, it looks beautiful! I ordered one for my sister as well! Oh and it writes perfect and smooth too!!

I bought this pen for my girlfriend, who is ALWAYS getting ink all over her hands... I've never met someone who can possibly get ink on her hands just using the pen. This pen works fabulously.... I ordered a couple of refills for her as well... It writes in any and all directions... and the best part, she's never had ink on her hands from this pen!!!! She loves me more for thinking of her, because I got her a High Quality Pen!
