UST Marine Lightweight Dry Bag

Carried my down sleeping bag and puffy jacket during my 2017 thru-hike of the AT. Very concerned about keeping my down items dry and I had no issues including many all day treks through the rain. FYI, I also line my pack with a contractor bag. This was used to store my down when not in use in my tent or shelter as well to keep the condensation, rain etc from getting to my warm gear. This is not the lightest bag you can find, but it worked well.

I bought this to go with my Versa Flow water filter, made a really lightweight, super effective water filter for backpacking. It really only holds about 4 liters if you want to roll it enough to clip it and keep it from leaking (also, don't tip it over), but it was completely water tight and the flow rate with the filter was great. I highly recommend getting this bag to go with it.

I needed a waterproof 5 liter bag for my puffy jacket and this UST watertight bag surely fits the bill. On one fall trip, it rained on me all day and this bag kept my down jacket bone dry until I got back to camp. For the price, I don't think you can find another dry bag that performs this well. As a bonus, the orange color can be used in an emergency for a signaling device - I like multipurpose gear.

I ordered two bags for a bike packing trip in New Zealand this winter, their summer. While initially they worked great and kept my stuff dry, one of the bags after two weeks of use, when rolling it up to close and secure it the top webbing ripped off at the seam and was rendered useless. Poor quality.

Use this to attached a hydroblue water filter to then put water in this to allow it filter the water in a container. For the price I think this is the best drybag.The handle is very strong and can be hung from a tree or nail.

I purchased this to act as a bear bag while hiking. It has a nice D ring to attach a caribiner to. Tested it in a tube of water when I got it and it was water tight.

Used as part of a gravity water feed filtration system. Rinsed with vinegar first. Works great.
