Awesome knife, well worth the price.
Just holding this knife you can feel the power and weight of it coursing through your veins, it really is a beast. Took this out camping last weekend and it held up in every way I had wanted. Used it for batoning and had absolutely no issues at all chopping right through the wood, it was almost too easy. I saw a video where someone was batoning on the handle and the dual micarta scales started splitting apart, but I've had no issues with mine and I don't foresee that happening in the future. Speaking of handles, it is probably one of my favorite parts of the knife. It is lovely to hold, curves under just perfectly, and looks amazing. The sheathe is ok as far as kydex ones go. My only complaint is the leather straps on the back were splitting apart before I even used it. I am going to address this with Condor and hopefully they will send a replacement sheathe. After beating up on this knife all weekend, it really doesn't even look the least bit worn. This knife is definitely made to do work, and it does so with flying colors. If you can find this knife in stock at a reasonable price, buy it. You will really love it.

Best of both worlds
CTR continues to make a quality blade and the Atrox is no different. Ergonomic with a sharp blade that finds a happy medium between a knife and a machete. A quality knife, functional sheath and worth the price.

Perfect companion for machete, don't think of this as only a knife
So I wasn't sure about what I'd do with this when I got it. It's pretty big, bigger than any normal belt knife I'd wear, but it is also light. I wouldn't say it's not capable of doing chopping camp chores, but it wouldn't be the first option I'd grab for that task. Just too light and too big.So it sat on my shelf for probably a year, until I started clearing the fence line. That's when i saw the light. This knife is a perfect small/light machete to wear on your belt as a companion option while you work with a larger heavy machete or axe. It easily clears out the thick vines and delimbs bushes and small trees. The lightness of the knife makes it easy to use and it doesn't feel uncomfortable even after a few hours. If your clearing an area you really need two tools, one heavy one for chopping and one light one for clearing hanging vines and branches.... heavy machetes work but not well for that stuff, and it's to hurt yourself if you do. This is the perfect light option for the belt. It's definitely my first choiceI see a few posts about the sheath not being good. I have a completely different opinion on that. I love this sheath. It's very easy to drop the knife into it, and get it out. It wouldn't hold the knife in if it was being thrown around on a pack or jumbling around upside down; but that's not where I would use this knife anyway. You really want something that is easy to get in and out if your swapping back and forth between tools all day. It's a perfect companion for my big Duku Machete, or maybe the Makara.

best $100 knife
this knife is the perfect $100 knife, tough clean steel, sharp as hell and enough heft and weight to function as a machete. handle very comfortable

Small Sword
I have never been disappointed with a Condor product. This knife is a beast. Would be good for survival and self defense. Handles are excellent, what a chunk of carbon steel!

Beast of a knife.
Love Condor knives. I own a Dundee Bowie and I've handled over a dozen more while knife shopping. Every one of them was sharp enough to shave with. Their quality is equal to a Tops or Esee, but less expensive. However, I was truly shocked that this one came out of the box as "sharp" as a butter knife. I kept it because I can sharpen it myself. I would have given it 5 stars except for the lack of sharpness. I still gave it 4 stars and I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Bad ass bowie
I have had really good luck with condor knives. I see reviews about quality being bad, blades bent, tips broken. But the only downside is it wasn't sharp. But I can fix that. But I'm really happy with the condor knives I have purchased

Quality control issues!
This would have been great, but.... after returning the first because of a warped blade, the replacement came warped as well. I loved the size, weight, handle material, and design! Condor needs to hone in on their quality control.
