Great product and modifiable
Safariland products are built like tanks no doubt. Very impressed. I bought this for my glock 17, my 17 also has a threaded barrel, raised suppressor sights, and a streamlight weapon light. So a little modification was in order. Tools required for the following. Phillips head screwdriver, heat gun, ziplock sandwich bag, and leather gloves or something that will protect your hands from the heat. Slowly and equally heat the bottom of the holster where the light is located along with the top side trench area where the sights slide in and out to provide a more open area. Now it takes a while to get the temp were the holster becomes a little flexible and a that is all you need a LITTLE bit of softness. You don't want to deform the holster or interfere with any of the mechanical areas of operator, just make subtle changes to the shape of areas of friction. The exterior of this holster looks leather, but the core is a kydex / plastic so it will mould. Once the holster is warm you can put your gun in a plastic sandwich bag leaving the grip exposed. This is to protect the finish on the slide. Push the gun into the holster while the plastic is somewhat malable; move it around and get the plastic to form in the shape of the exact setup you have. This will work for most kydex holsters as long as the initial mould was somewhat close to the set you have. Mine was originally for a Glock 17 with the factory light, I only has to make minor shape changes; no issue. Don't try to do this with a holster for a small 22 and try to reshape for a full size 1911... Not enough material to reshape.

Matched Safariland Quality
Safariland makes the best holsters, hands down, period.Holster came as advertised in STX black, left-handed, fitting M3 lighting systems. The holster is snug to the fit, carrying a Glock 17 with a TLR-1HL light, there is minimal to zero wobble, retention screw on the rear on the holster keeps the wobbling down to a minimum.Only thing I ran into a potential issue was the thumb break needed some oiling, nothing a little grease didn’t solve. The break and draw is smooth, used to carrying a level 3 retention system I’m in love with the level 2 and probably won’t switch back. The holster has been fielded for serveral months in all weather conditions, rain, heat, car seats and pavement. I’m seeing minimal to zero scratches, hundreds of range draws from the holster and not seeing any fading from the protective lining inside the holster.Highly recommend and will continue to buy supporting the usual high Safariland quality.

Good Holster
Was recommended to me by a coworker, and I agree, it's a well made holster by a solid brand name. Mine arrived very very tight - needed two hands to force my sidearm in...with the retention screw completely removed (yes, I purchased and received the correct model). After a couple weeks of non-stop draws and a few other recommended 'fixes', I finally have it with me on duty, and am quite happy with my purchase.Side note: if anyone has the same experience, put your sidearm in a Ziploc freezer bag, get it into the holster and leave for 48-hrs. Repeat as needed, but do not over loosen holster. Can use holster loosener, if necessary, even though this is not wholly leather. Worked for me.

I ordered this holster for my Gen 4 Glock 22 ...
I ordered this holster for my Gen 4 Glock 22 with TLR-1 attachment, but I did not receive that. I received a slimmer looking holster that wouldn't even fit my firearm alone. Aside from that, the bag that the holster comes in was a total mess. The bag was torn and worn out all around and there was a fruity smelling green residue at the main opening part of the bag. I have sent this item back in hopes of receiving the original item shown.UPDATE:I returned the wrong holster and got the one I originally ordered in 2 days. Brand spanking new!

Great Duty Holster
This is my second 6280 Holster. My first one last about ten years on patrol before the thumb release broke down inside and would not latch at the top positon. I am left handed and the holster gets beat up against the door of the car quite a bit. It held up well and my weapon feels secure. I bought another because I like the first one so much.

Good holster
I was worried since this holster had a different hood retention, that my husband would not like it, but he does like it and got used to it really quickly. Which is good, because he had the range only a few days later. He did really well, shooting a 96, so it was just as fast, if not faster drawing from this holster. He said he thinks he is going to like it, so I am glad of that, because with him being a lefty, it was hard to find one for him to start with.

Worth the investment.
Purchased this holster for my Springfield 1911a1 without rails, and it fits like a glove. The hood rotates smoothly, and secures the gun well. Hood will not close with hammer down though, but the only time the hammer is down anyway is when it's unloaded. We use these holsters at work and I can attest to their durability. Allot of our officers are less than careful with their issued equipment and these holsters stand up to the abuse well. The lining is also way better for the finish than other kydex holsters.

Good deal
Amazon consistently has the best deals on these holsters. Working in law enforcement it is imperative to have a good holster that you can rely on. I carry this every day on my duty belt. It would be a little bit large for an owb holster, but to carry on a duty belt you can't find a better holster
