Easy glide, does not split yarn!
Amazing hook set! I have clover soft touch hooks and these are the same exact hook in a traditional style. They are a good bit shorter than Boyeor Susan Bates hooks so they may be uncomfortable for larger hands. These are also tapered hooks and not inline hooks like Susan Bates.

I love these! I had an old set from my mom missing the K hook. They are perfectly pointy, just like I like them!

VERY nice set of crochet hooks.
5/5 ergonomic5/5 easy to hold5/5 comfort5/5 overallThis is a very lovely set of crochet hooks. I am very impressed by the quality of the case and included accessories. There is a clip out size guide included on the back as well. This would make a very nice gift for a crocheter in your life. The packaging is very nice. Just include some nice yarn or a gift card to purchase some, if you're feeling extra generous. They're a bit between a Susan Bates style and Boye style hook. I prefer the Susan Bates style hook and really enjoy using these. I think going from any hook to these would be a HUGE upgrade.Edit: after using them for some time, this is what I had to say about them to a friend off the top of my head -I've been making some samples in cotton and various thrifted wools, and so far I LOVE them. They don't cut into yarns the way some of the modern Susan Bates inline hooks can. My vintage hooks have been misplaced or borrowed, and these have that nice feel and smoothness of those hooks without the outrageous prices I've been seeing them sold for recently. I'm also finding the grip similar. They are shorter but I'm not finding them hard to work with. They're also helping me relax my grip quite a bit and my stitches, which makes for a really nice crocheting session since it's reducing my hand fatigue. The case and scissors are nice. It also has a cutout size guide on the back so you can switch from Japanese sizing, mm sizing, and letter sizing easily.

Smooth!
I really like these hooks. Wish they were available individually and in more sizes. Not impressed with the case, seems likely the snap will pull through the fabric with much use.

If you love Clover crochet hooks, you'll love these!
I've been using both the Clover Soft Touch & Amour for years. While the Amour's coating on the hooks are silver/gray, the coating on the Soft Touch hooks are exactly this color. If you love the Clover Soft Touch hooks more, you'll love this set. The handle where it has the sizing has a nice indentation. Some of these hooks in my set have marks on them where the handles are at, but it's not a serious concern. I tried out one hook not even five minutes from after having it delivered and the yarn goes through like butter.Another deal with this set are the other accessories. I tried the scissors and they are adorable and perfect (even for cutting through bulky yarns). The needles are Clover needles so they are very smooth. The measure gadget is measured in CM & not in inches, but you can easily convert that to inches. If you want something purely Japanese and are a crochet lover, I would recommend these. The case the hooks come in is perfect and the hooks fit snugly and safely in. The price is a little higher considering it is a Japanese import, but if you want quality crochet hooks without the fancy handles, get this set!

Good for my very specific needs, small crochet hooks that are very smooth.
Because I have some eye problems and sensitivity to light to a degree, any super shiny metallic finish on crochet hooks and knitting needles will bother my eyes, so I set out to find a hook with a satin finish.I was going to buy Clover's hooks with a handle because it was all I could find, but I really don't like handles.Note that these are short, and light, and using the knife hold it will hit my palm sometimes.I am new to crochet, knitting my first shawl and the head is really smooth and won't split yarn. For comparison I took a photo and the lilac hook next to the clover is a Boye, so is the glitter acrylic, and the last one is a Susan bates. As for the defect that some of the reviewers are talking about, is the same for me, but I'm thinking this might not be a defect, it could just be part of the manufacturing process, because the positioning of the dots is precise and is the same in all hooks.

Clover hooks
I'm a bit disappointed for the price... I didn't get the darning needles no big deal, but I didn't realize that these are Japanese sized hooks that range from a 2 to 10 which is a 2mm to 6mm American. Not a bad deal just a bit more than I wanted to spend. I have crocheted a small swatch and they are nice and smooth but only 5in long.

Lightweight and slick
I like lightweight and slick hooks. These hooks fit the bill perfectly, and come in a great variety of sizes.
