Arctic Cool Women's V-Neck Instant Cooling Shirt with Mesh Side Panels

I found that I really like the style, cut and fit of this shirt. I typically wear a medium shirt but find I do not like my workout clothes fitted but loose. In comparison, I have several Champion brand DuoDry circle neck work out shirts in size large and found the Artic Cool womens shirt to be the same fit. I gave the shirt a 4 out of 5 stars because I found the cooling effect to be minimal. It kept me maybe a little bit cooler than my other workout shirts but did not notice a large difference. I have worn this shirt about 4 times in the gym which they keep way to warm for my liking and found the shirt comfortable and maybe somewhat cooler than my other shirts. However, I do really like the style, fit and the many colors they offer. I plan on ordering another one.

I recommend the shirt with a few caveats:1) It's a fitted shirt, so if you don't like a tight shirt, order a size up2) It works based on evaporation, so the shirt has to be damp to cool. When it isn't damp, it's a little thicker than most technical shirts. The cooling and evaporation worked well for me, but the humidity here is in the teens. I'm not sure how it will do in humid areas.3) You have to not mind wearing a damp/wet shirt in order to get the maximum benefit from the cooling properties.The shirt is cute and seems well made. It's a fitted shirt and I don't like fitted or tight things, so I ordered a size larger, which is perfect for me. Before I went on a run today at noon, I wet the entire shirt and wrung it out, so it was damp. After 30 minutes, only the bottom hem was still damp (but I was cool). If my run had been much longer, I would have wanted to spray it down with more water.

Purchased both the V-neck style and the Tank w/mesh style for a Vegas vacation. 4 stars because I believe the product works. You do need to sweat or dampen the shirt, but I was noticeably cooler. I returned the V-neck style as it was possibly the most unflattering shirt I've even put on. I'm on the larger size so maybe this isn't the case for thin women, but it was baggy in weird places and they fall into the trap of only making the shirt wider and lot longer for larger sizes. I did decide to keep the sleeveless for my vacation, but it also was baggy in weird places. I have a large cup size, but there still was material hanging around my bust while the shirt fit everywhere else.

3rd time my daughter has asked me to order these. She loves this fabric and it must work pretty well or I'd be hearing about it! Order a size larger maybe, they seem a little tight but are well made and hold up. Nice to get more than you expected every now and then.

I think I should have ordered one size smaller. It seems this fabric won't work at its best unless it is close to your skin. I live in the South and our summers are hot, humid and very little breeze on most days. I was hoping this shirt could give me some relief when I worked outside but unless I was walking or standing in front of a fan I noticed no cooling effect. The key is having air movement so on sultry days this shirt is just like any other. When there is a breeze I can feel the coolness. I experimented with a damp cotton t-shirt vs this one, standing in front of a fan. This shirt was notably cooler where the breeze hit it.

I really love the color of the shirt. It does actually cool you down when you get sweaty. The material is a little bit uncomfortable for me. But I also have neuropathy in various areas. I wear it taking the dogs for walks which is excellent. I wore it on a motorcycle with a vest over it which seem to counteract the cooling effect. So I'm still learning. I like that it's a longer shirt. I didn't getting a size it's probably a little bit large for me but I like looser fitting clothes. I definitely want to buy the tank tops that I see in this material but I'm gonna have to wait until payday.

It is like any other performance shirt. Priced to high and does not cool as advertised. The only time I felt cool was when I was sweating and entered an air conditioned place. It will not make you feel cool in high summer heat, even with water poured on it.Pro- nice fit, good material.I bought this because I have a condition that takes me a long time to cool down. This did not help my cause. I was really hoping it did.

This is a nice shirt. It is lightweight and comfortable. However, I don't notice any "cooling" effects at all, which is the only reason I bought it. I've been training to run a 5k, and I was hoping for something that would help when I'm running outside. It's still a good shirt for working out in, but I already have far too many workout clothes that I didn't need to add more to my collection since it doesn't really do anything special.Having said that, this is my go-to running shirt as it's comfortable and I like that it's red. All my other shirts are darker colors, and I prefer running in this so that drivers can more easily see me as I'm running.
