Useful
I got this about 10 years ago. I liked. However, I moved and seems that it got lost. I have been missing it, so I ordered a new copy. Not very often, but sometimes I like to listen it in my car - when I need some encouragement, when doubts start sneaking up on me.There are some parts that are repeated, some seem to be irrelevant to me that day or that year. Overall it is a good product and I would recommend it.

Powerful!!
Provides information and advice to help you reign in anxiety so you can handle whatever the situation is. Many of the things covered I may have heard or known from the past, but this serious helps put it all together in a way that makes it useable. I have already seen significant progress in confidence and being able to do something that I never thought I could.

Love this book. Sorry to hear Susan Jeffers has passed
I love this, Susan Jeffers (RIP) has helped me tremendously. I listened to her book faithfully and had no fear of getting out of my 27 yr marriage. I also got over all my other fears and now I love to fly and always get a window seat.

LIFE CHANGING
This audiobook was lent to me several years ago and it helped change my life. I recently decided to purchase it so that I can listen to it again every once in a while. I think everyone should listen to this great example of self-help literature that actually works.-PaulAliso Viejo, California

Audible courage
This was actually recommended to me by a man after I had expressed problems in a male dominated workplace. This gave me the courage to set new standards for how I would continue to work there. Since then I have not been the same. I used this in conjunction with another audio book and the combination gave me a whole new perspective. Changed how I played the game all together.

Did it anyway!
This gives great tips for starting to think positively and training your unconscious mind to think the right way towards your goals. Highly recommended for anyone with anxiety issues or simply second-guessing your life's ambitions.

Excellent down to earth self help CD of the book
Very useful and amazing value for 8 CDs. Author is well spoken and conveys her ideas and observations clearly with a bit of humour and genuine desire to help others. She has been through some major trials in her life and has bounced back which should lend support and encouragement to others who may have been traumatised or are just a little dissatisfied with how life is going.Despite the title the discussion ranges over lots of everyday topics including relationships and jobs which can slow you down and take the edge off life. Down to earth with no psychobabble or religion.Although I have read of lots of self help books and many of the ideas were not new, her ideas and observations around the central theme (the title) are new and very helpful. It definitely gives you some extra energy and strength to tackle existing issues and push forward on ideas and hopes you have had but may not have progressed.Useful and encouraging for anyone no matter how well or badly they are doing currently.

really helpful
I found the CDs to be really helpful in coping with depression. The best place to listen to them was in bed and in the car. I've now lent them them out to my neice.

Feel the Fear and do it anyway
This book rides on the warmth and vibrancy of the author's personality. I enjoyed reading it, but found the notion of a 'universal consciousness' questionable; all very redolent of Eastern religions. It has some good observations. I'm a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and found that it shares some of those common-sense observations, such as your reactions to a real or impending situation depend on your view of your ability to cope. (A Sumo wrestler would not normally be nervous about burglars, for example, whereas a 5ft 120 lb. lone female might be.)Ms Jeffreys suggests switching between the 'lower' and the 'higher' self, and finding release in the 'higher' self. The Apostle Paul talked about 'bringing every thought captive to Christ'.For me, the book kind of pointed to a genuine truth, but stayed in the shadows away from its light. I think this is how, in one of her later books, Ms Jeffreys was able to write that nothing stays the same, nothing lasts for ever, and the way her husband feels for her now he may not feel in the future, so enjoy it/him today, in the moment. But the Bible describes love as lasting, as something we work at.But as I said earlier, her personality pervades her books and makes them very readable.
