tough, safe and work very well
These stakes are light-weight and sturdy enough to be pounded into the ground using a hammer or flat back of hatchet. Used them for camping on sand, replacing aluminium stakes, and was very pleased with them. Thanks to the opening and the hooks they provide many options to tie down a tent , securing ours during an overnight thunderstorm. Due to their flat and wide top, there is no worry that kids will get injured stepping on them. They may also be handy around the yard to secure landscape timber and I will try that next. Finally, they are made in the US and I find that refreshing. Overall, I was very pleased with the purchase!

There was a lot at stake...
These are tough, effective stakes. I used my first box of 50 to secure the bottom of my dog-restraining fence. Since our dogs did not take well to being hemmed in, they turned their considerable combined problem-solving skills to an anti-Stalag campaign. Their efforts were enormously successful hence the purchase of a second box of 50 pegs. The fencing has been ravaged and chewed to rats but the stakes haven't budged and show no signs of the extensive abuse dished out by our determined pack.Excellent stakes at an excellent price.

Good to Go!
I'm impressed with these. I will use them to secure my yard holiday decorations in the yard to the ground. In my opinion they are great quality materials, thick and, heavy. I got 4 packs and will probably order more. Definitely recommend these for the cost and quality. ππ

Effective, sturdy stakes made in the USA
I use these tent stakes for our beach tent, in dry, fine sand. They bury easily, and have a wide sturdy blade that holds well in sand. The top is wide and flat and easy to palm into the ground without hurting your hand. The double hook with loop is very secure. After buying and returning a cheap set of yellow pegs that were totally ineffective, I was pleased to find these to be more than up to the task. Surprisingly they were made in the USA, too!Highly recommended.

Good in Sand
The media could not be loaded. I have two beach tents which came with metal spikes. Metal spikes that donβt hold the tent or the sand and therefore get lost on the beach. These plastic spikes seem strong and held well in the sand today. I like the hooks and eye at the head. The tent never slipped off, even as the wind blew harder.I also like that this product is also Made in USA.

Perfect
I use these for my christmas inflatables. Much better than the little stakes that they all come with. They work perfect and hold firmly.Update: A year later and I put these to the test with a 50 footer inflatable Santa. On heavier winds Santa is still in the same spot! The stakes were a bit wider than the holes to anchor santa, so I just used zip ties to secure him to the stakes. So far so good!

Stronger than a normal stake
They are larger than the normal stake, but make sure to use a soft hammer to install. The head will be damaged if you use a hard hammer or rock. I always forget to bring a hammer so I use a rock and the head of these will be damaged since they're plastic. Other than that they do hold strong.

These are the perfect stakes for sandy soil
These are great stakes for sandy soil. However, do not use them for clay, hard packed soil, as hammering them could knock the top off of the stake. I learned this the hard way. Use metal stakes for hard clay soil as they can be hammered hard, but not for sand as metal stakes pull out easily. Use these plastic ones in soft soil as the large size and shape hold in the sandy dirt. That is why I keep both these and large hook topped nail-shaped metal tent stakes for both kinds of soil. Do not pull out these stakes by the top hooks as they can break off. Pull them out by the central hole that is used for tying tent ropes.
