Sugar is bad. Carageenan is under suspicion
I think these are yummy, tried almost every flavor. Grateful for a vegan jell-o (except possibly red dye, but I haven't eliminated that yet). Some flavors solidify more than others. For example, the grape and peach were much stiffer than the strawberry. On the other hand, the health-oriented labeling is morally bankrupt. It's a bunch of sugar with carageenan, probiotics, and pulverised fiber. Sugar is bad. Carageenan is under suspicion. Probiotics are shown not to benefit individuals unless they have clear digestive problems. Supplemented fiber has no proven benefits because it has lost its structural integrity. The leaflet included in the box makes unsubstantiated health claims from research that are likely not applicable to this product.I still love this as a personal treat, but I think it is disgusting and should be illegal to brand it as "functional health foods".

Pretty yummy
These are pretty good considering they are vegan. The grape flavor tastes great when pineapple chunks are added. The strawberry flavor is great when a layer of strawberry preserves mixed with vegan whipped cream is added to the top. The only downside is that if you eat too much you might need to stay near a restroom for a while! Lol. Also the seller left a hand-written, personalized thank you note. How sweet are they!

Better than Jello-O
Better than Jello-O! One afternoon, I had a sudden and overwhelming urge for Jell-O. This was strange, because I had lived without it for 20 years and had no attachment to its flavor. Instead, I craved the texture, color and wobbliness of it. When I read the product description for Jeannie, I was delighted that it contained probiotics, which contribute to good gut health. Initially, I tried the White Grape flavor. I could tell it was different as soon as I poured it into the pan. Before stirring, it clumped together like seaweed, but dissolved within seconds with just a few stirs. For my first batch, I mixed in the citric acid, as instructed. I put fresh strawberries in the bottom of two ramekins + two, small dessert bowls, and poured Jeannie over the top. Both my husband and I loved it, and we plan to serve it to my stepsons soon. Jeannie is more flavorful than Jell-O and definitely more satisfying than the Jell-O I remember. It also behaves differently. Jeannie sticks to itself instead of the container. I have also tried Peach and Blueberry, which I can recommend. In subsequent batches, I left out the citric acid and discovered that I like it better that way. I am hoping that this doesn't diminish the probiotic benefit. Summer is the perfect season for gelatin in the US. Highly recommend.

Taste just like regular jello
The product tastes delicious and will make a nice treat. My only issue is the food coloring. I realize is less than one percent but there are alternatives. My family avoids artifical food coloring so this will only be a one in a while dessert. The jello tastes just like I remember it tasting as a kid. The texture is spot on too.

Delicious, Nutritious New Gel Dessert!!!
It's yummy and VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE. I just got my first order yesterday and eagerly mixed up a batch. Here are my thoughts. The jello cools to a very firm gel consistency. It is pleasant and good and not what people are used to in a gel dessert because of the extreme firmness. It makes two cups so that is not that much, so you may want to add fruit to extend it. I wonder if I added a bit more water if it would be a little softer gel. Also, if I add more water it would make more of the jello, so, I am going to try adding another cup of water next time. It is not much more work than regular jello. First, you have to boil and stir for 2 minutes while the powder dissolves, then set the timer for 3 minutes and take the pan off the heat so you can next add the citric acid for tartness. Finally, you put it in the fridge and wait. It is very easy. And the end result is so good for you and tastes good. The prebiotic fiber did make me feel quite full, in a good way. You won't have any trouble feeding this to your family. Kids as well as adults will love it.

Liked It!
This is a first-time purchase for me and so far I have made three different batches of Jeannie's jelly dessert. The texture and flavor of this product remind me of the more old-fashioned jelly I had while growing up out of the US, and it's old-fashioned due to the fact that you have to stir well the mix in water, bring it to boil, add the citric acid and let it sit for a few before pouring into containers. The first couple of times I made it, I didn't even follow the instructions as shown on the back of the box, yet my three-big-mug batch per box came out as firm and with as much flavor as when I decided to stick to the instructions. i didn't really notice a difference. Also, unlike other reviewers, I have not had any runny or droopy-textured jelly. In regards to taste, it has a non-syrupy, light yet more natural fruit flavor. It doesn't have that muffled mumbo-jumbo melange of fruit flavors taste as it's the case with those ultra-firm lumps of jello bought in the non-refrigerated aisle of your regular store.I'll purchase this product once I run out. I'd say, give it a try.
