Size:1.1 Pound x 2 Singsong’s hot pepper powder is made out of carefully selected red chili peppers so it could make a great quality of pepper powder for Kimchi. To find the right pepper powder for Kimchi, it takes much deliberation to consider bright red color and decent spicy level. The resealable package allows you a longer period of time to keep the pepper powder fresh and clean, also prevent the powder from turning into little lumps. Also the opaque package keep the pepper powder from being turned brown by UV light. Once opened, we recommend to keep the hot pepper powder in the freezer to keep it fresher.

This is RED bomb - what color - take a bow 🙇
Wow! I love this red pepper. I am an Indian and have eaten hot and spicy 🌶 food throughout my life. We care how our food tastes and also how spicy it looks. However, I have recently developed GERD and cannot take too hot and spicy 🌶 food as that aggravates the acid. However, this hot pepper does satisfy my desire for red (spicy looking food) without burning my tongue 👅 and stomach. Although this is Korean pepper but I could add it to any Indian food without causing acid in my stomach.Mind you, this is not HOT. I mean, there are pepper out there that are really hot. This is between mild to medium hot.

Great pepper powder
I live in the middle of nowhere, so we have no Asian grocery stores for miles, not even decent international foods sections, so I have to order some things online. I bought this to make kimchi with, and various other Korean recipes. In college, I had a roommate from South Korea and she got me hooked on Korean foods. Unfortunately, I'd have to go over 100 miles to find a Korean restaurant now. This is a nice coarse chili powder, nice smell, great taste, you can put it in or on anything at all when you want a bit of heat and flavor. I like this a lot.

Great for Kimchi
I just got into fermenting vegetables and have been wanting to make Kimchi. This red pepper has been great for a few recipes I've tried including Kimchi, spicy fermented carrots, and a basic spicy sauerkraut. I will also add it to random dishes to add some spice without going overboard like regular cayenne red pepper will. Packaged well, very fresh.

Fresh - Fast - Fabulous
Perfect for Asian dishes. Arrives quickly in a resealable airtight package. It is exactly what I need for cucumber kimchi. Not too hot, not too bland. This type of pepper has NO substitution. Seriously, I've tried. So,in traditional Korean dishes, it's a must. It adds great color withoutmaking the dish too spicy to eat. It also has an almost undescribable flavor-only found with this type of pepper. Maybe smoky or earthy - probably both? Not sure, but it is a must have. It will store for a very long time - as with any spice, don'tstore/expose it to light and high heat for extended periods of time. Can be usedin Thai, Indian and Moroccan foods as well. Great on fish. Probably in Mexican food too -if you want the color and not the 3rd degree burn.

This is the absolute best red pepper in the world
This is the absolute best red pepper in the world! I love this stuff in just about everything short of sweet deserts, and there's probably some application there I'm missing. It's hot enough to make a difference but it's not abusive, it won't burn your mouth and make your eyes water unless you eat it by the spoonful. The stuff's even pretty, rather coarse shiny flakes which look attractive sprinkled on rice, vegetables, eggs etc.The package is a super value for the cost, I keep the bag in the fridge and just put a small amount in a jar by the stove. This pepper should be far better known IMHO, it's that good! Totally love it!

Great spicy red pepper flakes for Kimchi
The product does come from China, but the flavor is just like the spicy Kimchi we love. I used 1 cup of flakes for 3 lbs of Kimchi. The pepper from Korea is 40 dollars for 8 ounces. I doubt restaurants are serving that in the US.
