45 a few weeks ago and love the gun
I just purchased my XDS .45 a few weeks ago and love the gun. I am a skinny guy (140lbs), and it has been very hard for me to comfortably conceal a firearm. About the only way that I could comfortably carry was to grab my Kahr .380 and a pocket holster (which sucks with blue jeans, but fine with dress slacks and guess what, I can't carry at work).Anyways, prior to this, I had tried using the versa carry, and the clip draw as well as a few others. Just very unconfortable, couldn't sit down with it or anything. Then I got to thinking to myself....All of these holsters I've tried I have been thinking smallest as possible, on these holsters, the gun was sitting against my skin. I thought, I wonder about getting something like this that has leather against your skin.Well, I am glad that I did! This is the most comfortable holster that I have tried yet! I am very satisfied with the holster and I am really excited that I can start carrying and getting used to the extra weight and feel of carrying a firearm. Prior to this, I would only carry when I felt like I "might" need it rather than carrying it daily like you should.

SHFT Gear (Black Arch Holsters) is a very good IWB holster for a small frame person.
I spent a week researching for a IWB holster. Bought another brand that had a good rating, but returned it after trying it on.The SHFT Gear (Black Arch Holsters) is what people say. After a week of breaking you don't even notice wearing it. I have a small frame so it is harder to conceal any weapon. I opted to carry the Springfield XDS as I could never hide the Sig 226. I have some "fat" pants that are 1 and 2 inches bigger. What is amazing I'm able to wear this holster even with my now 30" pants by using the optional leather straps and putting the SHFT on without the XDS holstered then tucking it in. The perfectly design holster allows your body to confirm to the holster even with tight fitting jeans. This just adds to concealing the XDS while wear just a normal T-shirt. Not many carries can conceal wearing a t-shirt.Buy this holster you have nothing to lose with a great company and Amazon's return policyEdit 1/17/2017:I purchased the wrong application I bought the XD-S but have a XD with 3.3" barrel. SHFT (Black Arch Holsters) gladly exchanged the holster free of charge.After wearing this for 6 months it's hard to believe the fit getting any better. Just like a baseball glove the more you use it the better it feels. The only additional tip I have is after you determine the final position of the mount, use a "little" Blue Loctite on the screws. I didn't use Red Loctite just in case I wanted to rotate the gun position.

Close to perfect.
This holster is almost perfect. it's comfortable (I'm average sized), conceals very well, and I can use it in pretty much any attire. The only, and I emphasize, only downside is the weapon retention isn't amazing. It is adjustable and you can really clamp down the screws but there isn't that satisfying 'click' in and out that other holsters I've used have. I wouldn't wear this if I were running an obstacle course during an earthquake but for most regular situations this is perfectly adequate for retaining your firearm. For running, jumping, or diving and rolling it feels safe enough.

Black Arch over Alien Gear Tuck3.0
I ordered the Tuck3.0 and as it was a well made holster, it wasn't the most comfortable. The neoprene backing held on to the moisture and created a hot spot on to the skin making it very uncomfortable. Returned it and got a Black Arch holster which has a leather backing and its lower profile than the AGCan't go wrong with leather. Sorry AG but the 3.0 is a bust. Black Arch for the win!!

Used everyday!
Use it everyday for my mod 2 3.3 9mm and I did lost of research before purchasing! After I had it for a little while, they came out with the laser for the pistol, and i wish they made one of these to accommodate the laser.. that's the only thing that stops me from buying the laser.. no company makes a good iwb holster for the laser

Very comfortable and makes it easy to conceal my xds 45. And makes it easy to get my hand on it in a hurry also if need be. The perfect holster. I have tried several brands and can say i love this one. Anyone with a medium sized concealed carry gun this holster is for you.

That is very comfortable.
It does fit my XDS well, however the exposed side of the leather is unfinished and rough. It would be OK if you wear an undershirt that you can have between your skin and the holster. Otherwise, it is a little rough. I suppose it would wear in eventually, but I just purchased a different brand with neoprene against the skin. That is very comfortable.

Works great
Had a very hard time comparing this to the many other manufacturers of IWB holsters. I chose this one for the adjustable retention screws (should I ever need them). Properly adjust the cant and wear location, and this holster just disappears in my waistband; meaning, feeling that it's there. I have a hard time tucking in my shirt, but I'm sure that is true of all IWB holsters. I sit on a chair to keep everything in place while tucking my shirt in.
