SIMPLY AWESOME SOUND
One of the best component speakers in the industry. When I say built like a tank, its an understatement. You have to just listen to understand. Not cheap by any means. It's worth every penny and then some. I have had these installed in my 06 Tundra for well over six years and they sound as good as the first day I installed them. Don't take my word for it as I am just a guy that loves music, but install them, trust me you will not regret it.

Awesome component set. (New Kicker fan)
I purchased these in order to make the sound in my Subaru better. Anyone who drive a Subaru WRX knows the sound is very lackluster. I never owned any kicker equipment, unless you count wiring kits, and was hesitant to purchase them. I always research my speakers before I purchase. Actually, I become obsessed a bit and start watching videos, reading articles, and absorbing as much info about a product as I can. The only problem is not much info is out there for these. So I am writing a review. The speakers have substantially larger magnets than the factor speakers. The cone move very smooth also. I've had a few speakers that had a bit of friction when moving in and out. The tweeters can be installed in a coaxial or separate mode. The crossover are massive!!! Everything, except the crossovers, installed into factory locations with no issue. In order to install the crossovers I had to step outside of my confort zone. I got some sheet metal, a rivet nut tool, rivets, and paint. and created a mounting location, just behind the door. I have the set configured as coaxials, for the moment. I contemplated converting to separates eventually, but I doubt I will need to.Now to sound quality. The speakers are amazing. Before I installed them I installed sound dampening material. Again Subaru WRX (slightly better than aluminum can). This was also my first time getting into sound dampening. I think I did a good job. (I tested with the factory speakers and it did help) I also installed the Stinger Speaker ring kit. It comes with a set of rings and a pad to install around the speakers. I tested one speaker and was blown away. I am currently powering them with a Pioneer 2330NEX and a Kicker IQ1000.5. I was a bit afraid the kicker wouldn't be enough power for the speaker. I was wrong. The tweeters are a bring. The components have a set of jumpers with allow you to attunate the tweets, I have them currently at +3, but will drop down to 0. You can also have them set to +6, if you are insane. The mids are crazy. They punch hard. The only time i've heard vocals so loud and clear, were when I had focal polyglass speakers installed in a Nissan Titan. Though I recommend a sub, I did try with a flat cross over. The lows are nice. (I didn't run them at flat long, I need the rumble.) All of that to say, I love these speakers. Some may not like the brightness in the tweeters. I don't mind the brightness. I mostly play Hip hop, Jazz, R&B, Pop, and very very very little country.Set up:Pioneer 2330NEXKicker IQ 1000.5 (65 x 4 4 ohm, 250x1 4ohm) my sub is two ohm, so I'm getting 500x1Kicker qss654 (front doors)Kicker 44qsc674 (rear doors)Kicker L7S 10 (ported)

Beautiful speakers
I love the pure crisp sound of these top of the line kicker q class speakers. I have two sets of them. Front and rear. I’m driving them with a Kicker Q500.4 amp. I really haven’t heard other speakers at this price range, but I’m always blown away by them when I crank them up or have them down low.

Great Components, but specs are misleading. This is NOT a 6.5 inch component set
Would have givin 5 stars but a 6.5 inch component set these are not. These are the reboots of the older QS 60.2 components. These (in measurement) are a 6 inch driver. I've been installing professionally for over 26 years, and have been around Kicker products most of my career and knew something wasn't right when I opened the box. Check the performance specs in the 2 following photos. So if you are looking for replacements for your older QS65.2 you'll need to purchase the newer QSS 6.75" drivers. As far as how these sound, with the right power and a clean signal, these things are absolutely breathtaking.
