Bestech Knife BG05A Folder 3.75 in Plain Blade G10 Handle Hunting-Folding-Knives, Black, Multi

This knife and it's siblings have upended the budget knife game. I'm 99.99% sure it's real D2, if it isn't it's a steel that acts just like steel will's D2 (in sharpening, edge retention and corrosion resistance level). It also has every feature and perk you can ask for on a liner lock knife, at any price, ceramic ball bearing pivot and detent ball (yes, ceramic), sculpted and textured g-10 scales (not flat slabs), inset skeletonized liners (4.25 oz. weight), two tone blade finish. deep carry tip up pocket clip and as good as it gets fit and finish. The only tiny nit pick is they messed up the sharpening choil a bit (like just about every knife maker does these days). I'm not really sure what more you could have on a liner lock, it doesn't need over travel stop or lock bar insert and custom hardware is something to avoid. If this isn't good enough then you're setting yourself up for disappointment in knives, at any price point. It blows away the competition in the sub $50 category, in blows away most of the competition at twice the price, it's still damn competitive at $150, d2 steel is the only thing keeping it from being super competitive at $150, if this were s35vn then it would still be. Look, do yourself a favor if this is the price range you normally get knives at, buy it. Buy it and it will be the nicest knife you've ever owned. I was still in the honeymoon phase with my steel will modus and this knife crushed it.

The media could not be loaded.  I can sum it up with one word. Outstanding. I’m amazed at the quality we’re seeing in Chinese cutlery. Fit and finish on this Scimitar is truly flawless. Deadnut blade centering when closed. Flips like butter. And I only paid 39 bucks for this? I have Case, Buck, and old US Shrade worth quite a bit more, QUITE a bit more that I swear to Christ this Bestech is equal to or better than...39 freaking dollars folks. I’m a convert, no doubt. If I absolutely had to nitpick. Ok. Packaging and presentation on first look. It was wrapped in plastic in a box.Honestly though for 39 dollars don’t even hesitate. Do yourself a favor and grab a cuple. Extremely nice cutlery.

This is my first Bestech knife I have purchased, I own many knives, some way more expensive than this one but the action, fit and finish is better than some of mine that cost several times more. I can see more Bestech's being added to my collection!!

Sweet knife. The action is ridiculously smooth, the blade falls shut with just the right amount of resistance to not chop your thumb off. The blade grind on mine is slightly asymmetric which is a first for a Bestech knife that I've seen. But it doesn't affect the edge which came very sharp. Everything else is virtually perfect. The 3-D contoured G10 handle feels good in the hand. Love the deep carry clip. Once again Bestech has outdone itself with a very high quality knife that outdoes the competition in this price range.

One of the best values on Amazon. I have been collecting knives compulsively for 15 years and this is the best bang for the buck.

G10 handle, d2 blade, ball bearing action....$50.What more is to be said. Like most knives, (in my opinion ) it can use a sharpening, but it is sharp by most standards. Excellent purchase for the price point

Gorgeous knife. Bought for a Christmas gift for my son. Nice G-10 scales. Sharp out of the box. Love the blade design. Good size, on the larger end of EDC for me. Action was smooth out of the box and will only get better I'm sure. Perfect blade centering. Highly recommend this and the Bestech Kendo, which I carry frequently.
