SMA Sunny Boy 3.0-US 3000W Grid Tie Inverter

This a beautiful piece of equipment. It is solid, attractive, and easy to install. I had a few questions during the install which were immediately answered thoroughly by the SMA representatives.

I already have solar panels on my roof but my inverter went out and this was the replacement. I used to have a 300 a month electric bill and now I have $100 a month electric bill so this product will pay for itself in just a few months.

We got this inverter because our old inverter (Fronius) stopped working after 11 years. This one appears to be more efficient than the Fronius. Was almost a plug and play installation for the technician I had install it....no adjustments necessary. This one should last another 15-20 years, although the warranty is for 10 years. I’m, so far, extremely happy with the product.
