3 Telescopic Garden Hand Tools, Trowel, Fork, Hoe/Rake

They are for gardening

This handy little set was bought for an elderly friend who loves her garden but has difficulty bending. She has found the hoe/rake and the fork to be fairly useful. However the trowel has not proved to be particularly robust. The amount of leverage it is possible to exert when the handle is fully extended has found a weak spot at the narrowest part of the trowel which has bent a couple of times and which I suspect will eventually lead to it fracturing at that point. In addition it has proved very difficult to lock the tool in its fully extended position as it retracts with only moderate pressure no matter how much the clamp is tightened.In summary I think the set is just about OK but I have reservations as to its long-term durability.Twelve months on - In addition to the trowel bending at its narrowest point, the same has happened to the fork. The hoe is showing similar signs. The concept of the tool set is great but the materials used appear to be of poor/cheap quality. Overall I would definitely NOT recommend this toolset.

Items not very strong

Not tried ySadly they’re not as sturdy as they look and bent close to the tip of the metal. Disappointing and wouldn’t Recommend. Flimsy metal component couldnt cope with my garden soil and bent at the first try. Poor quality metal so not recommended from me

This was bought as a gift but the recipient says that he is delighted with the items

My dear wife has a bad back and now there is no need to bend when doing light gardening. Thank you

The telescopic feature makes it unusable. it is simply not possible to tighten it enough for it not to get loose ina 1 to to hit's to the soil. the hoe is so blunt that it strugels to penetrate any top soil especially the hard one. save your cas and buy something different

The items would not stay in telescopic positions. Very weak, fork and spade bent and and have now broken. Only used in light soul a couple of times
