Becoming an Officer of Marines: The Definitive Guide to Marine Corps Officer Candidate School

About 110 pages of double spaced print, that was written for a 3 year old.
I don't like this book in that it's 110 pages of double spaced type in order to make it 110 pages, on any normal book this would come out to about 20 pages of fluff. I don't like that the reviews of the book look fake and deceive folks into buying this book based on those reviews.

Best Marine OCS prep..... ever!
I went through OCS then TBS almost sixty years ago. In 2003 I wrote "One of Us; Officers of Marines - their training, traditions and values". I wish I had had the benefit of a book like "Becoming an Officer of Marines". If anyone is contemplating Marine OCS, they would be foolish NOT to read this book. It's the best preparatory reading on the subject available today. And it's a great read for any old Marine, too.

Changed a lot since I went through almost 50 years ago. Yet it did not change at it's core. Most info would have been helpful.

Good book!
I'm in the process of applying for PLC Juniors, and I'm glad I came across this book! I enjoyed reading it, and it gave details about what to expect at OCS. I also really like how it comes with a workout plan:)

Good book. Very straightforward and informative.

Thorough and interesting
Hits all aspects of a preparatory program. Includes a workout at program and a diet program. I'm not qualified to say if it's accurate however....

Not bad advice, not great advice
I am an officer and bought this for nostalgic purposes. Not bad advice, not great advice. A good guide if you otherwise know nothing of military OCS.

Excellent, No BS Resource
Excellent book both for incoming candidates as well as family members and friends who want to understand the process and maximize the effectiveness of their support for their loved one.
