I definitely appreciate the guidance on the shoe size, as it definitely runs large. One size smaller fit great. The shoes look nice and appear to be made well in general. The problem I have with them is they smell TERRIBLE!! I read reviews about that before purchasing, but didn't really think too much about it. Let me give you a specific example...I had them in my bedroom for 24 hours and they made my entire bedroom and hallway smell. I am going to keep them and wear them in the hopes that this eventually goes away. Also, if you plan on doing a lot of walking in them, you wil want to break them in. I walk about a mile every morning to work and should have broken them in, as the shoes have dug into the back of my ankle.

I was on the market for a new set of daily-driver dress shoes for work due to my old pair wearing out. This was my first time buying shoes online so I did not have set expectations.From reading other Amazon reviews I was able to learn a few key points which made this buying experience successful:-Formal shoe size is about 1 size less than well-fitting running or tennis shoes.-These shoes have ample (medium) arch support-Shoes for medium/narrow feetAt this point it has been weeks and daily-driving these shoes has been great. The glossed look certainly seems to outshow my previous matte wingtips. I appreciate the shoe sole texture now with them on my feet- striped gripping rubber on the heel and smooth front-end. Shoe sizing was a deal-breaker for me, though with regular-sized feet I went with 1 size down from my running shoes and am glad I did.

ok, so noted that these 'fit as expected' but I read the reviews and others say to order smaller than what you normally where by one size or so. so I did that, and they fit fine. also they said to beware of the strong chemical odor, and man was it strong! it smelled like paint thinner, and it took like a month for it to go away, even after leaving them outside overnight. so be prepared for that. but I would buy them again. they fit and look well, especially for the price.

These are an excellent low cost option for dress shoes for those needing them for entry level interviews. I am transitioning out of the military, and wanted something besides the low quality/awkward issued shoes, and these fit the bill perfectly.As others have mentioned, order a size small. I wear a 10.5-11, ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly with a little extra room.There is an adhesive/plastic smell, but it isn't noticeable when wearing and I'm sure will go away after a few wears. I wore these for an interview (all morning) then several days for a transition class and they were very comfortable.

These shoes seem pretty durable, and they definitely look nice. I had to return them, though, because they were just too big. Not too big in the sense of, "Oh, I'll just wear thicker socks". It's like the manufacturer just threw a number on them. They were at least a size and a half too big. My guess is they were purchased from a Chinese manufacturer who knows nothing about US sizes. Buyer beware. Or at least buyer buy a size smaller than you think you need.

I bought these for everyday use at my job (I work for a bank). First off, they really are too big. I recommend going down 1 full size from your normal shoe size. Second, they're really uncomfortable. Probably some of the stiffest shoes I've even own. Finally, after a month or two of use, the paint began to chip off near the toes and now it looks really tacky. The only reason I even gave these two stars is because the price is very reasonable. I would only recommend if you're on a very tight budget, you won't need to wear them for long periods of time and you won't need to wear them often (and you're lucky enough to get a size that fits).

Strong smell, but it wards off after a while. Concerning the comfort, I wouldn't recommend it for daily activities, nor working. Although elegant, they will kill your feet after the 2 hour of walking.

These shoes are awesome, ive bought another pair on the same shoe and they bought look great especially for the price. They have a gas like smell whenever you get them but thats not a big issue. I always get compliments when i wear them, and they look great with my fitted 511 levi jeans. I would recommend these to anyone. Just order one size smaller
