Deep Steep Sugar Scrub, Brown Sugar Vanilla, 8 Ounce

I've been on a look out for a sugar scrub that leaves my skin buttery soft and i found it!!!. Not oily. This one leaves my skin with a film of like a waterproof buttery texture I rub it in after the shower and it's the most enjoyable experience. I'm gonna try it on my face cuz I love the ingredients. I have severely dry ashy skin. Everything I use just sits on the skin and then i just wanna wash it off. This was absorbed after rubbing it in once I towel dried my body. Oh my goodness, what a treat. A definate spa experience. Easy to scoop out not a hard butter like other reviews. The bad reviews I understand cuz it doesn't have any soap and doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean like most scruvs but it does have sugar. This should be marketed to be extremely moisturizing and for dry skin.

Here is the deal. Yes, it does feel greasy, but it soaks in and is great to do for the face before bed. I take a shower and use this on my face, it takes a bit of rubbing to dissolve the sugar scrub on the face and then I rinse it off. No, the moisturizers don't wash away, they stay on, but if you go to sleep with it on your face, it soaks into the skin and plumps up the face wonderfully. I was actually hesitant to use this as a 40 yr. old woman who still gets prone to break outs, but my husband was using it and his face was so supple. I am glad I did, it keeps my face really moisturized and my skin looks really good. I use this and then follow up with a light moisturizer. Really, don't be scared off by the initial greasy feel.

I love the Deep Steep Shea scrubs. It has the right amount of “scrub” to remove dead skin and the right amount of Shea for lasting moisture. You don’t have to use anything after you finish your in-shower treatment.There were no issues with the packaging. Mine arrived sealed with plastic wrap on the outside (I forgot to take the picture) , a seal that I had to break (pictured here), and full product (- the scratches I made taking off the seal).

This is my favorite body scrub ever. All my friends always ask how my skin looks so soft and smooth. I used to buy this at Whole Foods but I guess they don’t carry it anymore. I hope Deep Steep never stops making this stuff! This is the only body scrub I’ve ever found that I can use after shaving my legs and doesn’t irritate my skin. And my skin is sensitive. I can’t even put lotion on after I shave my legs, but I can use this and my skin loves it!

This was great, really my favorite body scrub for what is in it and what is not! However please use caution when using this. It leaves a warmed oil all over your tub or shower floor. This is to be expected with what the ingredients are. I love that it is not too much, and the fragrance isn’t overwhelming or fake. Especially helpful and refreshing if you dry out in the drier seasons. Just warn who ever might be heading in after you.

Gorgeous smell and consistency. Leaves a soft (not tacky) coating after shower (where I use it). I love Deep Steep's smells, in general, and this one, too. I use lotion, butter, and oil, as well, as weather, time, etc. call for. This product is particularly good for deep winter (the smell is winter appropriate, as it is cozy and home-y) and it leaves a layer of moisture. Great product by a great (small) company !

Aside from the slight oil leakage on the exterior of the tub, this product (and shipping) is perfect. It may settle in transit, so be sure to mix it up.The scent is wonderful, and not too heavy. Combine this with Deep Steep's Brown Sugar Vanilla Body Butter, and you will smell like a cupcake that is frosted with happiness. It is a wonderful pre-shave exfoliant. If you use this on your face, and accidentally taste it, no problem. Deep Steep's products are very "clean" and it actually tastes pretty good.

This was pretty much a solid block of shea butter. I felt like I was smearing crisco on my body and of course it wouldn't rinse off. I'll use it on my elbows and ankles. I could use it on my feet because they're certainly dry enough, but then I would slip and fall in the shower. In summary, it doesn't exfoliate or rinse off, but it does moisturize.

This invigorating scrub has a gorgeous fruity scent and leaves a hint of oil on your skin (obviously more or less depending on how thick you rub it on).

Great product. Very nutritious and hydrating for skin. Would recommend and buy again although it isVery expensive
