AFI AH14214 Mission End Table with Charging Station, Walnut

Very well packaged to start with - probably the best packaging I have ever seen in my years of putting all my furniture together! Very impressed there. The table comes in as few pieces to put together as possible - Nice. Instructions were very clear and easy to read. I did reverse a step though finding it easier to put the sides and bottom shelf together first, then attach to the top and legs. Their way would have you attach the sides to the legs, then shimmy/wedge the bottom shelf into place. Table is as advertised size-wise. 20" wide x 20" deep x 22" high. The power cord is 9 feet, and the outlets/USB ports all work fine. The table is what you pay for, which amazes me why some people here whine about the finish - pay around $100+, that is the quality you are going to get! There are some cosmetic flaws, paint blemishes, etc. All very minor, and you really have to be up close and staring at it to even notice. It's what you expect from something that is not a national name which would cost 2 to 3 times more. Very sturdy, has decent weight to it, solid. Finish is smooth. No gaps between parts when assembled. Only reason I did not give 5 stars? There are NO pre-drilled pilot holes for the screws to mount the side rails to the legs. This is a major oversight on the manufacture's part. Most people may struggle with this to line up properly. I actually lined everything up first, Then - pre-drilled my own pilot holes. Thanks for that Atlantic....and the instructions for the assembly I mentioned above were easier my way with that issue in mind. Other than that, I would purchase again.

These tables are very sturdy and for the price a great value. Mine were easy to put together and look great.The two suggestions I have are as follows:1 The screws provided are cheap. Ideally use some Kreg pocket screws instead and assembly will be a breeze. The pre- drilled holes are for pocket screws so this is not an issue. The wood is fairly hard so the philips screws that are provided strip easily.2 The power outlets are not the greatest. They are too close together to plug anything with a power block, so you need to add a small power strip (try a small cube) to get more than one plug at the table level and the wires off the floor.I have the plugs against a couch so they are mostly hidden, if they were in plain view they might be a bit unsightly.

We ordered two tables. I assembled one-it was a nightmare! First, the pre-drilled holes for the wood pegs were not drilled properly. Not to the proper debt, or the diameter was not correct or both! Next, the table legs were not pre drilled and the wood screws would not properly draw into the table leaving gaps. I tried to take the table apart to return it, but the stews were cheap the heads stripped. I checked the second table and found the same poor craftsmanship-so I sealed it up and returned it to Amazon. I would have returned the table I assembled , and as I mentioned, I could not get it apart. So we have it in our workshop to store paint cans on. NOT a good value for the money!!

The tables are as pictured, but the holes did not line up properly to be able to assemble properly. Had to improvise to make it work. One of the tables did not even have screw holes in it and had to contact the manufacturer. They gave me the biggest run around, could not find my order, sent numerous pics and communication on my order, said still could not find, wanted every label on out side of box with numbers. Finally said to reach out to Amazon to get it taken care of after about 6 emails back and forth! Call them, yes I did , answering service only, will have them call me, did they... no! Finally reached out to Amazon , no other tables available. Told that to manufacture ( Atlantic furniture co) they said what do you need... told them needed a new side to the mission table... ok . Then they came back with call Amazon! Very poor customer service and communication. Just hope you don’t have a problem with the order, oh it said in box contact Atlantic not where you purchased from. What a joke!!

Overall, I really like this table. It's sturdy and made of solid wood. A couple improvements would have made this a 5 star item for me. First, my item had areas of incomplete staining where the stain was lighter or not present. Granted, this was mostly on the undersides, but it detracts from the feeling of a well made item. Secondly, there is no guide hole for the wood screws on the legs of the item. I'm not sure if this is to prevent issues with hole misaligment, but I was not loving the experience of trying to eyeball the center of the legs to forcibly screw the screw in. Overall, everything ended up working out and the table still looks really good and functions well. I would most likely purchase again if I needed another one.

Pros__I like the style and color of the finish. Having the plugs for devises is great. Cord to plug into the wall is nice and long. It was packaged well. Nothing broken and all pieces were there.The finish work is poor, but since this will have some things on it and it is in my she den, it won't been seen. My husband had to put this together using Amazon picture only as there were no assembly instructions. There were no holes drilled for the upper legs. We had to drill bigger holes as the ones factory drilled were way to small to use the screws sent.It will work for the purpose I bought it for but I would not purchase furniture from this company again.

Finally! End tables that are solid wood, a fantastic size, and clean design WITH power! They're pretty easy to put together, a second set of hands would not kill you, haha. The cord for power is extra long so great if the outlet is a hike, cool, if not, get a zip tie. Two plugs for plug plugs and a couple of USB plugs. Oh and they charge phones faster than I could ever imagine! Highly recommend.

Just what we needed for our master bedside tables! Love the built in plug! Added a basket in the bottom section for decorative flare.
