Very powerful model
Very powerful device.make sure that you need one like this.we used it to dry brickwork it would keep a damp cellar dry.a bit overkill for drying clothes indoors! Eats electricity..

Recommended........ with some small reservations.
Had mine for over a year and bought a second one when my Girlfriend's house had a flood. Hers ran almost constantly for 2 months and made a huge improvement. Both cheaper from a national chain and trouble free operation after extensive use. Fairly quiet but probably a bit intrusive for most people if you are in the same room. Can be heard from an adjacent room but not a problem.Performance....18L/day is the maximum theoretical if used in a hot wet room filled with steam. According to my humidity meter, it realistically reduces humidity in an average 5mx4m room with 3m ceiling at around 20 degree temperature from 70-80% to around 40% over 20-24h and removes about one to one and a half tanks of water in that time i.e. 3.5 - 5 L on maximum dial setting. Pro rata, 60% drops to 40% in around 8-12 hours. If the room has damp floors and walls after a flood, it removes much more. The cut off when full works fine on both my units although personally I don't leave them on for more than a day without checking, to be on the safe side. The best way to use it is one room at a time, with doors closed.Although the unit has no heating element, it generally raises the room temperature from 17-18 up to 19-20 degrees after 12 hours. It actually feels like more of a difference due to the lower moisture content in the air. Condensation is virtually eliminated and clothes dry far more quickly. The exterior is fairly robust but the door is vulnerable when open. Emptying the tank is quick and simple but take care not to knock the door and damage the hinges while doing it. If the tank is completely full, take care not to tilt it when removing or it will spill. When the tank is replaced, you occasionally have to tap and move it around slightly if the unit won't turn back on. Its no big deal. The adjustment dial gives only a very rough guide but it does work and makes the condenser and/or the fan switch off and on, to maintain an approximate lower/higher humidity level for economy but you would need a seperate humidity meter to know what that level is. I always leave the fan on high as it uses very little power compared to the condenser. The tank is plastic and although robust overall, the way it is moulded creates some very thin areas at the corners on the base which although tiny, could easily wear through and leak over time. Look through the hole in the top and point the tank base at a strong light source and it becomes obvious. I put a small doubled thickness piece of black insulating tape on each weak point and its problem solved. For me, this unit is a very useful household appliance in a small or average sized home. If you have damp or condensation problems it will make a big difference if you give it time, just don't expect instant results especially if used in large rooms.

Honest review
Had this unit on for 3 years non stop in a dusty humid environment before it died. It takes 35 watts of electricity an hour. Had other dehumidifiers for the same price in the same environment that only lasted 2 years.
