This bag is great for the price! It’s soft and sturdy. I always wait to review things on Amazon, especially leather, as it takes a while to break in. This bag after these several months is settling in well, especially for how much stuff I put into my bags. Only thing I wish it had was a toggle for the front pouch that I can open and close with one hand. I love the padded interior divider between my books and my electronics. You won’t be disappointed.*Note: the smell (like with all treated leather) will wear off after several weeks. But I personally love the smell. :-D

This backpack is vintage style, elegant and durable. I have the camel color. The outer pocket is convenient for quick reachability. The outer pocket and main opening of the bag have belts-like closings. The inside has a velvety material, and the pockets -- a total of 2 pockets--are secured with velcro. There is a cushioned laptop compartment. The laptop compartment has just the front layer cushioned --as a constructive critic, I will provide more padding in the back front without making it heavier or bulky for protection--since the back front, lacks padding. I have not put heavy weight on my bag yet, and will update this review once I get to experience its performance under this stress! I am very content with my German-made bag!Sorry, will oweyou pictures and video. I have not success uploading them today.

This is a very unique bag. My only suggestion - it would be nice if it was wider and could serve as an overnight/travel bag.

Everything about this bag is outstanding. The leather is beautiful, thick and very durable. It’s stiff without being hard like some leather is. The lining is nice and there is a cell phone pocket, a laptop pocket, and a clip for keys. I love the buckle straps which will deter someone wanting to take things out of the bag. The backpack straps are wide and padded which make them comfortable. I treated it with Leather Honey as soon as it arrived and stuffed blankets inside of it to form it (it arrives folded and a little scrunched) for a few days, it’s shape is gorgeous and the leather deepened in color a bit which made it prettier in my opinion. I highly recommend this bag/backpack.

My boyfriend loves to travel to Europe, so I got him this bag for his birthday to use on his next trip and he LOVES it! The feel, the look, and the spaciousness (also the real leather smell)!Highly recommend if your SO is like mine and you don't know what the heck to get them for their birthday or for the Holidays!

The buckles on both sides of the bag broke. This makes it unusable because you can't fold the top over and latch it. I carried it back and forth to work and it was great for travel. I just don't like the top being open and my stuff falling out.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect teacher/travel bag for myself and this bag is a winner! It has just the right amount of storage space for all of my things. It is great quality and I constantly get compliments!

This bag is perfect for my school bag. I take online classes and don’t have many books (it may be a little small if you have more than, say, three textbooks), so it perfectly fits my computer, textbook, calendar, and folder, with extra room in case I need to bring something extra along.Also, it looks amazing and I have gotten several compliments on it.As far as durability, I haven’t had it very long, but everything in it seems to be unbreakable.For travel, it is a fine bag for your small stuff to keep by your seat, but it is a relatively small bag, so don’t expect to fit your clothes in.

Zum Produkt selbst kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, da ich ihn noch nicht benutzt habe.Das ist der Tatsache verschuldet, dass ich nach dem Auspacken keine Energie mehr übrig habe, um rauszugehen.Es fängt damit an, dass mir nicht der schöne Duft von Leder, sondern ein Gestank sondersgleichen entgegen kam. Was da so stinkt weiß ich nicht, aber kein Leder sollte so riechen. Und falls es das Lederpflegemittel war, das anscheinend großzügig aufgetragen wurde: besorgt euch halt ein besseres, kruzifix!So, wer nach diesem Gestank noch steht wird vor die nächste Probe gestellt: jedes einzelne Metallteil an diesem Ding ist verklebt. Und ich meine nicht ein bisschen Tesafilm. Eher 100 Schichten aus Frischhaltefolie und Sekundenkleber. Habe eine halbe Stunde gebraucht, um den Mist abzubekommen. Was soll das?Kann schon sein, dass das Ding was taugt. Schön dick ist das Leder jedenfalls. Aber von diesem auspack-desaster vergeht einem einfach die Freude daran.Nachtrag: So, nun muss ich leider auch den letzten Stern noch abziehen. Wer sowas gut bewertet hat keine Ahnung von Leder. Hier wurde billiges, dünnes Leder verwendet und versucht, dies mit einer Überdosis Pflegemittel zu kaschieren. Dieser Rucksack, der übrigens wirklich sehr unbequem ist, hat mir meinen Daunenmantel ruiniert. Ich füge ein Bild an, auf dem der Rucksackabdruck/Fettfleck zu sehen ist. War etwas schwierig zu fotografieren, da der Mantel glänzt und der Fleck auf dem Bild nicht so gut rauskommt, aber ich denke man erkennt es.

Ich kann die positiven Rezensionen nicht teilen.Zuerst kam das Paket beschädigt an, ein Loch klaffte in der Seitenwand. Dann ausgepackt sah ich dass der Rucksack schon mal ausgeliefert worden war. Das ist jetzt für mich nicht wahnsinnig schlimm aber ich hätte es gerne vorher gewusst.So einmal aus dem Plastiksack herausgeschält kam die wirkliche Ernüchterung. Stinkt wirklich schlimm nach Chemie. Entweder sind es die vielen Füllstoffe oder die Pflegemittel, keine Ahnung. Das Leder fasst sich auch wie Kunststoff an bei meinem Modell, wirklich nicht schön. Seitlich beim Vorderfach (das übrigens groß genug für ein IPad Mini ist) erkennt man wie erschreckend dünn das verwendete Leder wirklich ist. Aber ich muss sagen dass ich mich mit Ziegenleder nicht wirklich auskenne. Nur hier wurden sicher viele Füllstoffe verwendet. Zwei Kugelschreiberlinien im Rucksack wo das Leder offensichtlich nicht exakt ausgeschnitten wurde. Naja das erwarte ich von einem 50 Euro Rucksack aber nicht von diesem Teil.Der Rucksack ist sehr schmal, hab nicht probiert meinen Rucksackorganizer reinzugeben weil der Rucksack so stinkt aber denke wird für diesen Rucksack in der Tiefe zu breit sein.Positiv aufgefallen ist mir dass das Vorderfach wirklich aufgesetzt ist also bedenkenlos einem Handy oder IPad Mini Schutz liefern kann (weil Lederschicht zwischen Vorder–und Hauptfach) und und dass die Rückengurte zwar sehr kurz sind aber gut gepolstert.Da jetzt noch nach dem Wiederverpacken die ganze Wohnung stinkt muss ich sagen das war für mich ein Reinfall.

I wanted to buy a bag, suitable both for work and leisure trips. I can easily fit my massive Alienware laptop in there on working days and everything I need for weekend trips. The leather is quite firm, so don’t think it will become a shapeless thing. You can adjust the lenght of the bag by rolling the top. The quality of the leather feels like it should last for a long time and the color looks very natural. After few days of use it's proving to me quite a multipurpose bag and I am using it both for work and casually.

Best backpack I have ever had. My positive points:- High-quality materials (leather, lining, closings)- Water resistant- no bad smell- Perfect for everyday use! From University till going to forest or on short trip- Leather feels as high quality. Strong and thick. Backpack will last for a long time- 100 day return policyI am very happy with this purchase! Will come back to “Berliner Bags” when I will need another bag 😊!!!!
