Weird Stuff [Color Edition]: Operation: Culture Creation

Great book! I heard about the book for some time and it came to me the day after I ordered it! A book had never been delivered that fast. It was like magic.Now Weird Stuff is an "easy read," but only if you want it to be. I brought it to work one day so an elderly woman could look at it. She couldn't believe how jam-packed it is with photographs, and moreover the history, or story it tells.From the opening chapter on Magic vs Sorcerery (one of THE best explanations I've ever seen without using Tolkien), to the highly sexualized youth and programming that is all around us in our stores, mocking us, and telling us what they think of us. The Soilder and Princess programming still goes on, and there's a great part on how that's infecting our lives.Television is the big culprit here. It is extremely difficult for people to look in the mirror and realize they've been living someone else's reality. This book emphasizes "culture creation" without a TV. Or if you do watch TV at least understand that its what George Harrison calked "Devil's Radio" and Satanic Church Founder/ Priest Anton LaVey called "an altar" to Satan.If someone was really locked in a very tough spot and knew nothing about this Matrix we were born into, THIS book will get you started. For the advanced, this book will also teach you a few things that perhaps you too were unaware of.In any case, for the price, the delivery speed, the laughter and sad reality of it all I highly reccomend it and give it 5 stars. I didn't read the book but I am giving it five stars because I don't want to give the content a poor review just to inform you that the book is not formatted for Kindle. I returned it because it's too hard to read on Kindle. It's just a file of images of pages. Even if it didn't have Kindle features, it would at least be acceptable to me if the image took up the whole screen so that I could comfortably read it. Since it takes up a portion of the screen the text is too small to read without strain. This is the case on my Kindle, phone, and PC. It cannot be made larger by any setting that I am aware of; and even if it is possible, I don't want a technical challenge to get started with enjoying the book. The publisher should not sell a Kindle version if it's not really formatted for Kindle.

I have been a Freeman fan for just a few months and he has a lot to inform us about. I was so pleasantly surprised that he and his wife, Jamie, have recently published the first issue of their journal, Weird Stuff. This issue describes the origins of how our present culture has been deceptively and systematically contrived...and not for our benefit in case you are wondering. Heavy subject, but Freeman keeps it light; the journal is illustrated and printed completely in vivid color, it's written for the newcomer and veteran alike and it even has a Crossword puzzle! Win-Win! Can't wait for the next issue! Highly recommended!

While driving cross country, I caught a radio interview with the author about this book, and made a mental note to get it for my husband's birthday. I figured it would be fun late-night reading with a cold beer if there wasn't anything good on television. The pop-culture/conspiracy theory articles are at the very least interesting and entertaining, even if you choose to believe them or not. Many people do!It is well-written, well-documented, and well-designed. The graphics, text, photos, captions, etc. are all laid out very nicely for an eye-pleasing product. A very fun little gift for a hard-to-buy-for guy!

Very interesting stuff...makes you think about the rest of life you take for granted.

This book is charming and visually dazzling. The writer takes the time to synopsize some of the most puzzling events in society for the general reader. This is a great book for anyone new to the "strangeness" of our environment as well as those no longer asleep to the corruption in our society. I look forward to your next chapter in this series. Beautiful work! Fun read.

You definitely want to buy the hard copy of this, a very handsomely made book, nice color, good paper stock.Great work Freeman, every one who has seen mind has been impressed and everybody knows the culture is rigged deep down but you pull back the veil so well even the most rigid disciple of standardized opinion can't help but wink at the facts you bring up.

Finally, a book that successfully addresses both self-improvement and the issue of mind control of the masses. The same creative magic that can allow us each to be all we were meant to can also be twisted and perverted to make us fall in line and virtually imprison ourselves. This book is fun, with lots of cool art work and illustrations, and I look forward to future volumes!

Mooi boek vol met referentie materiaal. De Slackmagic was niet iets wat me aansprak, maar voor de rest staat het vol met juweeltjes.

Pretty good magazine as we find out alot of hidden info.

The comic book format provides an interesting introduction to Freeman's unconventional educational work. Those with a processed closed mind or dumbed down thinking will have their cranial mechanics blown open. I would like to think that anyone to whom this is the first taste of his work will be encouraged to visit his web site and sample the incredible information that his upbringing and experience has exposed. Let this be start of your journey!

Full of information the powers that be would rather you didn't know. Freeman is one of the best cutting edge researchers into forbidden knowledge. Expand your mind and get a copy today!

I was intrigued to read this book but unfortunately the Kindle version is so tiny that I am unable to do so and have wasted my money. I wish I had gone for the hard copy version
