Frogs

I was a little disappointed in the very good rating it was wore from reading and I expected that but some of the pages were tore at the bottom. Some of pages were loose. I understand about wear on books because I am an elementary school teacher but was still disappointed. I believe good would have been more appropriate.

The photography in this book is stunning! And the frog information is excellent- in depth and informative- perfect for my 6 year old who wanted more information about frogs than most of the children's nonfiction books provide. I definitely recommend this book!

The photos in this book are stunning! Awesome poses, fantastic colors and breath-taking focus contribute to the equally-well written and concise text. I thought I knew a lot about frogs, but I learned a number of facts along the way. A special surprise was the foldout spread. I would recommend this book for anyone, regardless of age.

Its wonderful and I bought it for a little research and to have clear photos as well. I was surprised what I learned just the basics, of things I never knew about these adorable creatures. Its a wonderful well written and beautiful photography of frogs.

This was purchased along with the Nic Bishop's spider book for a 10-yr old frog/bug enthusiast. She adored them! The books are well made. The text may be a bit rigorous for most kids unless they are interested in the subject.

Got this for our 9 year old grandson who loves all things outdoors and spends lots of time at a local creek where frogs abound. Lots of good info for him.

This book is entertaining as well as informative. The photography is outstanding. Our seven year old grandson loved it and never tired of finding another interesting fact to share with us.

Made stuffed frogs for each of the grandchildren. Looked for books to accompany. This one was for the 6 year old who has to dissect just about everything!
