One of the issues we have with NMN is some of it simply is not NMN. Some of the questions here requested documentation, and the response has been to contact them directly. This was suspicious to me, so I contacted them to see if it was a bluff.Well, it wasn't. They responded right away, and the results show they actually have a very slight amount more NMN than advertised (130 compared to 125). Also included were heavy metal tests, and microbiological tests, performed at Solar Labs in Miami Gardens, Florida.I'm not taking chances with other makers, since so many do not have NMN. These guys not only respond, they respond quickly.

Like many others I got super excited about NMN after watching Dr. David Sinclair on the Joe Rogan podcast. I immediately started taking it along with resveratrol since that is what the doctor said he did himself.Well I have taken a full gram of NMN everyday for about 6 months and I don't notice any difference at all. That's a real bummer because a gram a day costs about $175 a month. I run and measure my stats and they have not improved at all. I measured my running stats because if you take a supplement and it makes you 10% healthier you probably wouldn't feel it day to day, but it would show up if you kept good stats on athletic performance.I think the problem is that I am 34 and I eat healthy so my body is still fully functional. I've read a lot of reviews from older people who are having fantastic anecdotal experiences.So NMN might work very well for older people. That is why I'm not giving it a bad review. I'm keeping it at 4 stars because it might work well for others, but if you are in your 20s or 30s this might just be a big waste of money.

I am a PhD chemist with access to laboratory equipment. I have analyzed the NMN on a Bruecker 600 Mhz NMR and there is NMN in it but not very much. Maybe 30%. There are multiple components all of them are chemically related to NMN. My suspicion is they did not adequately purify the product. I dissolved the product in D2O and ran NMR on three nucleotides Hydrogen, C13, and P31 NMR. The latter was the most definitive. I saw approximately 5 Phosphorous peaks and if it was pure there would only be one peak. Because NMR of hydrogen and C13 is a mess when you have complex mixtures I didnt learn much from those spectra except that the chemical shifts appeared in the same region that one would expect to find NMN. Thats why I think it is a Crude reaction mixtue that was bottled up as poduct. The upshot is if you ae going to put it in your body you ought to have some reasonable purity. At least 90% Incidentally I found another supplier on Amazon that was pure NMN. Look for my review. I ran NMR on it and everything looked good.

I started taking NMN for general health benefits. I am over 50. I have had back problems for years. The diagnosis is the common degenerative disk disease. The last few years have been particularly bad. My back would go into spasms getting out of a chair. Reaching across my desk my back would go into spasms. The background levels of pain never went below a 3.After approx. 3 months of 375mg NMN per day, I noticed I could move pain free in ways that I couldn't before. After 6 months I was pain free 90%. It has now been almost a year. For example, today I just spent 2 hours cutting down a tree with a chain saw, cutting it into pieces and bending and lifting the pieces to haul it away. Honestly, the thought of two hours of bending and lifting and the guaranteed pain would have been horrifying a year ago.The only difference in my diet is 375mg daily of NMN.I have seen no research on NMN and back problems. I didn't take it for that purpose to begin with. All I know is that I can now be active, and pain free and move in ways that I literally couldn't a year ago. Not a controlled study, I know, but it sure seemed to help my back pain. I'm never giving it up.

I have been taking NMN for over a year now. I noticed a general energy increase and better sleep patterns. I think it helped alleviate my arthritis a bit too. Most visible is the "liver spots" on the backs of my hands faded and disappeared. Recently I discontinued using it for a few weeks when I ran out. The liver spots started coming back. Restarted NMN use and the spots went away. I did switch to sublingual powder which is supposed to be more bioavailable. I gave it 4 stars because it's pretty pricey.
