HHVS450 HIVIZ Sight Systems, Litewave Front & Rear Sight Combo, .22 LR Henry, One Size, Green and Red

The product is made of high quality material. I wish the light pipes were a little bigger in diameter, but they work fine, especially in bright sunlight. Installing the rear sights was straight forward. Installing the front sight is a bit of a nightmare. The product offers very little instructions. I had to research how to install them on Youtube. After about an hour, I finally found a great video that explains for the front sight, it will likely be necessary to file some metal off the base of the sight to get it to seat with a brass punch and a gentle tap from a hammer. I ended up filing metal off 3 times to get a good tight fit, but not too tight or too lose. The margin for error is high. One could easily file off too much metal making the sight slide in/out too easily, requiring a shim to tighten it up.

My brother and I (or just me? or just him? too many decades and plinked cans ago to remember) lost the front sight off our Ithaca Model 49 single-shot .22 rifle that we acquired I think in 1970. Initially wanted to get an original iron replacement, and still probably will if I find one, just to have in possession for this cool old piece of our history, but I couldn't find any that were specifically for our model and figured I would try these to see if they fit the dovetail grooves and were the proper height. Turns out that both sights fit and sit perfectly, and the front sight sits well with the original rear one, and these are truly excellent sights for the price. My now-old eyes appreciate their high-visibility aspect, and I'll be keeping them on the rifle whenever it's my turn to have it for a decade.

I am 65 yrs. old, these definitely help for being able to see the sights for aiming.Installation was easy, the front sight fit snugly but the rear sight was a little looser with only a set screw to help secure it. With that said I am very careful to not knock the gun around where I might knock the rear sight out of alignment. I would thing that for the money they would be better made and sturdier, whereas they seem to be cast aluminum?

Fits perfectly well on my henry. Very accurate, essy to adjust unlike the original sight. Definitely worth it.

Makes the Henry Frontier useable. Default sights, while authentical to an old western gun, were hard to see. These make seeing the front sight and getting perfect alignment a breeze. I recommend anybody on the fence to go for it.

Bought this for my 22LR gold boy and I was so excited to install it, but I couldn't find any MODERN instructions online. All Youtube videos are with the older HIVIZ sights that they no longer sell. Even on their main website there are ZERO instructions on how to install this.If you're a casual shooter like me, please stay away from this product because it will probably involve plenty of tools to use for installation.

Super easy to install and easy to pick up during target acquisition. I got mine in green because my eyes pick it up well.Good buy and good value
