Very tasty, but hard to eat.
Very hard, but I found pounding on it with a meat tenderizer/mallet works real well, mom was able to eat it then. She loves the taste.

Best snack for old fashion goodness!
I grew up eating these as a kid in Arkansas and couldn't find them in California. They are simple ingredients with a great taste.
