This works beautifully! It’s smooth and permanent so you can use it on any surface. The pigment is strong so it does a great job blocking out all kinds of print. It works on flat surfaces and round surfaces such as medicine bottles. I haven’t done my research on whether this is refillable but I would not mind buying another one once this one is empty. The only complaint is that it does have a strong chemical smell like any other permanent marker so use in a ventilated area if using it for a while.

I ordered this for my sister and then myself. It works GREAT!!!!!!!!! you just literally roll it across any print you want covered and that’s it!! Rolls on smooth as silk and truly obscures the print. For anyone wanting to discard mail and block out info this is definitely the thing to get!!!!!?

Love this, I use it on my mail so I can recycle the paper with address on them rather than shred. I still shred account numbers, but this works great! It doesn't seem to cover info completely on labels that are somewhat laminated, like UPS labels for or some catalogs. I think the shiny surfaces don't absorb the ink well, but all other papers- great! Mission accomplished!I keep mine capped when not in use and haven't had any issues with ink drying out or lightening. It is a roller so normal use won't get in your hands, just be sure you're not getting it on your clothes or furniture, and you should be good to go! Doesn't seep through paper at all, if you're wondering for desk or countertops.

However, when I showed the medicine bottles to my husband tonight, some of the previously undistinguishable information could be FAINTLY seen through the dried roller ink!!! It wasn't until AFTER I applied a permanent black marker over these areas that all information was totally concealed!! I still would recommend this product. However, I would advise the user to apply permanent marker over the dried roller ink to insure total permanent concealment.I would give this product 4 STARS instead of the 5 stars, I originally gave.OCTOBER 2013 UPDATE: I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT WHEN USED WITH A PERMANENT BLACK MARKER. This stamp "prints a pattern" that makes it impossible to "read" anything it covered. I tried this on several glossy labels and NONE of them could be read! I really checked the labels for ANY visible identifying information. I used a bright light and tilted the labels to see if the underlying information was visible from different angles and could not see any printed information!!!!I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to anyone who cannot easily remove their identifying prescription labels. Just make sure you purchase the "ADVANCED" Roller Stamp that is designed for glossy labels. This is a real TIME SAVER and you will not be disappointed with the performance of this product. The ONLY negative remark I have is that this "self inking" stamp is NOT refillable. Since I just got this, I cannot tell you how long it lasts. But, I will update this review when I have to replace this one.

As a professional organizer I use these when helping my clients go through their mail and recycle. I recommend them to my clients as well.

This is the third time I have ordered this product and it works great. I had a ton of papers to get through and my shredder gave out (of course!), but I was able to tackle them with the roller. I was able to quickly cover my personal information and toss the papers in the trash. My most recent purchase was because I don't want to be without one should it run out of ink.

I might have gotten a bad one. but this didn't last long for me. At first it did it's job, but soon, the ink got too hazy leaving the info under it visible. I have stamp style and the wider/retreatable(?) style, they work much better, and I recommend those. Using these ID guard is FAR so much easier than shredding the papers, so these are must have items, but probably in different styles.

I have zero complaints with this stamp. It is very well made, the print rolls on smoothly and evenly. It feels great in your hand and is just the right size. It is easy to see where you are rolling and this is so much more versatile than a standard flat stamp. Because of its rolling surface, you can use it on non flat objects such as prescription bottles. The ink dries pretty quickly even on magazine surfaces which are slightly glossy. Great for blacking out your info on magazines before you donate them! PLUS it comes in adorable colors like pink!It does a very good job of hiding the text underneath. One pass with the roller is all you need. I have included photos of blacked out magazine addresses as an example.

I ended up purchasing 5 of these and gave some away as gifts. This works like it says it does. The ink dries almost instantly on matte and glossy paper. I no longer have to shred every document that comes in the mail. I use it to block out my name, address, and any other identifying information. I definitely recommend this product.
