I had purchased these same matches in our Dollar General last year. I loved them and wanted more, but they didn't have them this year. I heat with wood and they are great for lighting the fire. One strike and they light, easier than a lighter. I can usually get the fire going with one match.

Great for large jar candles. These matches makes it easier to relite candles without putting your fingers down inside large jar candles.

These are the best long matches that I’ll buy. Another brand wasn’t sturdy, broke when striking and didn’t always light. Had the tip of another brand fly across the room… and it was lit! Yikes!

These are good matches to use outdoor for lighting my Kamado Joe grill. They light easy, and stay lit for enough time to get three igniters lit. I also use these to light my gas fireplace, and it does the trick there. Out of two boxes, I’ve only had one match break and become unusable. Will buy more when the time comes.

I like this item even though it’s slightly more expensive than others. They are a bit thicker than cheap ones and don’t break in half every time I use them.

My aging grill works fine except for inconsistent lighting using the built in electric spark system. I often needed to toss in a short wood match as an alternative. The method was worrisome to say the least. These long matches flame easily and stay lit even when the grill flames up allowing one match for multiple sections of the grill.
