Novagrade Digiscoping Phone Adapter - Standard - PA-0200-01

Only had it a short time, and used it for a few hours with my Leica 65mm scope, 25-50x eyepiece and iPhone 6s Plus in it's case, so this is just first my impression. The phone fits pretty well but does move slightly-the problem seems to be the lever style end stop on the eyepiece mount which does not offer a great deal of support, I would be much happier if it were a sliding flat block that could butt up against the top of the phone. Also the hole for the phone's camera is a bit big, and the iPhone does not completely cover it-you can see it in the picture, this can let light into the eyepiece causing flare. I presume some other phone makes will be ok.Unlike some adaptors, this one clamps securely to the eyepiece and doesn't move at all-one £50 plastic sleeve adaptor had to be held flat all the time to avoid alignment issues and this also led to vibration problems let alone the risk of the whole assembly falling off. There is some vignetting at 25x, though the thick phone case contributes to this, and it just needs zooming in a bit to eliminate completely. Being so secure and rigid, I was happy to take photos by tapping the phone and this did not seem to affect image quality,though normally I would use the headphone volume control as the cable release.It is expensive, compared to some of the phone adaptors, but since it's a case of one adaptor fits all phones it is future proof, so long term its very good value.
