Laura Ingalls Wilder: A Storybook Life (Heroes of History)

Havent read it yet but is a used book and in better shape than I expected.

Its an interesting book lots of things are from her books and family life and memories. Some parts of the book is interesting learning more about Laura's daughter Rose.

I read the Heroes of History and the Christian Heroes books to my grandchildren. It is a wonderful way to spend time together. They enjoy all the stories of real people. My grand daughters were already well aware of Laura Ingalls Wilder because her books have long been favorites of theirs. At first they were a bit confused because this tells Laura's story in the actual timeline they occurred, unlike the Little House books. Also one of my grand daughters was upset to hear of the deaths of the people they had grown to love through the Little House stories. Laura's story is truly a story of America and American perseverance.

This was a cute and informative little book. I am a grandma, and found it good for adults, but I think it might be more for younger people.

I thought it was one of the biography s of Laura but there were a few mistakes i recommend ages 6-20 !

I like these books because they are stories about pioneer life and the problems and joys that existed that era.I would recommend these books to anyone who is interested in earlier times in America.
