Whether you are planning on owning this by itself or as part of the Disney Showcase range, which has other characters which are similar and others which are also Disney characters but very different, this would be great for any Disney fan.It is larger than most miniatures, perhaps even most action figures, although smaller than the oversize action figures for children. Size wise I think it would serve fine on a desk, as I have seen some people do in the workplace to personalize their space. In the home it would work much like any other ornamentation or trophy possession. Even within the box (if you wish to keep the model as a "new in the box" or "fresh in the box" collectible) it is not too large not to serve as a display piece (I have known people use collectibles of these size to book end prize possessions or favourite reads on shelves).This is a collectible and display piece rather than any of those things. I do know that people choose to use those things, action figures, miniatures etc., as display pieces (and they obviously have a collectible value too these days) but it is not their intended purpose. This is a vinyl character, the closest comparison I can think of are the Pop range of static figures. It may be just me but I do not think these make great "toys" for children, thankfully the product description is pretty clear about this.The materials and build on the mouse character itself are pretty good quality. Its not built to withstand weathering or the elements, although its not a garden ornament. Besides card the packaging has two larger clear plastic blown casings which keep the character in plain view through the plastic "wind screen" on the front of the box. Recommended for fans and collectors.

This is a collectable vinyl figure. It is made from a soft feel, slightly textured vinyl, very much like the Pop Vinyl collectable figures, only this is in the Disney Showcase range. This Mickey figure comes with a mini pluto dog, who is sat alongside him. The figure is a little larger than a standard Pop Vinyl figure and is more substantial. I think it is minimally overpriced when compared to the price of other vinyl figures, but being slightly larger, it should be priced around £15/18 at most. I think over £20 as is current price at time of review is a little high.The figure is not pose-able, although the vinyl is slightly flexible. So you cannot really play with it and change its stance, so it is more of an item that you would get for a Disney fan who likes to collect the character figures. The character of Mickey for this collectable figure is more in line with the early Micky depictions, so doesn't have the modern look that most youngsters would relate to, so this is more for the older fan.

The Mickey Mouse vinyl figure feels a bit like a throwback to the Steamboat Willie days. It’s a really decent size at just over 6.5” tall and around 5” wide while he comes with his little sidekick Pluto who is 2” tall. The paintwork on my figure doesn’t look quite as polished as it does in the photo – there are quite a few flaws on the front and back but overall it still looks good. There’s very little flexibility in the vinyl so that is the position he takes. It would make a nice collectable for a Disney fan or a Miss Mindy collector.

This is one of those items you wonder who would buy it. Its is simply a figurine of a Disney character called Miss Mindy and a small figurine of Pluto. Miss Mindy is made from some sort of rather rigid foam/plastic and is not bendable in any way. The quality of the finish is OK, but there are some air bubble imperfections on it, so not quite perfect. I guess this is just one of those things that you buy, as you either like the look of it or you collect Disney figurines. Its nice, but its not great.
