The outer is some king of sticky black rubber coated pressed fiber that looks like leather. The thin rubber coating began to flake and crack after opening the fake wallet window just a few times. Rubber coating just peels away with no effort. this product is so bad it is not worth shipping back, so, I poked my finger through the underlayment material and it was cheap pressed fiber.The $15 Magic Makers trick wallet is better.
