I don't wear eye masks. It feels like I'm intentionally putting myself at a disadvantage should I need to react to something quickly in the middle of the night. This does not have ties or a loop that goes around the back of my head...it will just slip off if I get startled and want to look around me. I'm sure some people would hate this, because to keep it on you can't roll to your side or change positions....but this isn't a black out mask, that's not what it's for.This is great for relaxing, it helps you to "de-stress". Take a moment to lie down and put the mask on. Usually I'm tired, but not relaxed in any way, often there is a headache lurking, and then just generally feeling ill at ease because, really, why am I lying down instead of working on something?But immediately there is a cooling sensation against the backs of your eyes, with a pleasant weight to it that actually feels good. The scent of lavender is very light, not irritating or overwhelming.Often I think I will just lie there for a moment and recharge (and sometimes I do). But it's great when it helps you relax to the point of falling asleep...I wake up a little more rested than normally because it is so calming.I know this is a ridiculously long review for a simple eye mask, but I am enjoying it a lot and think most any one else would too.

I like this because I don’t have to use it just for my eyes. I can tuck it in to the crook of my neck. I have trygeminal neuralgia and it helps with that as well

I owned a different brand eye mask that had a silky side that felt wonderful. I think it was stuffed with something else that felt like slightly improved pressure on my eyes. I also had it for years, and the lavender scent never left. I don’t know what the difference is. This is just what I’d say about this one: It’s soft and wide. The material feels nice, but it might impede weight of filling’s full effect due to the material used and the type of filling. I am extremely disappointed that the lavender only lasts a short time. My other mask had lavender that lasted forever. Otherwise, it’s decent. I heated it in the microwave for 20 seconds, and it was very warm. Don’t go over this, especially if you have a powerful microwave! It’s decent, but not the best.

I love this eye pillow. The weight is perfect enabling the pillow to sit on my eyes without falling off. The scent is strong in the beginning but gradually fades as expected. I’ll keep using it because it completely blocks out the light making easy for me to fall back asleep when the sun shines through the blinds.

It’s super soft, large and weighted without straps yet stays put, smells great and works! It’s everything I wanted in a sleep mask.

I love this so much. A few times I really needed to close myself off from the world and stress, and this did the trick! It's just the right weight on the eyes, and so soft.
