This is actually the second item I have bought something like this. And that's only because I wanted my son to have a variety. This toy gun is built and functions just like the real thing. The size is perfect for big kids and up. I wouldn't say it is the most durable, you get what you pay for. And on that note, the shells will get stuck behind the mechanism that's in the center of the chamber, from time to time. But it's no biggie to fix.

This revolver is full size, it fits my hand just like the real thing. The action is double action only, the hammer does not stay back if pulled independent of the trigger, and the cylinder freewheels which can be an issue if you aren't careful with it. That said it's a great little toy, fun to learn the mechanics of loading and unloading, and the trigger pull is nice and heavy. Is it accurate? No, but it is fun to shoot. The targets are a nice addition but I don't think there is much chance of hitting one. Some of the cartridges were missing the primer that "fires" the pellet, but otherwise this a good set for pretend play, not for any sort of shooting for accuracy or distance (only fires about 10 feet and that's at an arc).

Each individual shell is spring loaded with a trigger mechanism. They fly fast and far! They're small, so make sure to weal eye protection! Super cool!

Man, I was so excited to get this toy gun, but it's a complete letdown. The plastic feels super cheap and flimsy, like it's going to break any second. The shooting mechanism barely works, and the bullets get jammed constantly, which is frustrating. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this thing, it's just not worth it.

I definitely played with this, possibly more than my kid. Its been fun. He is eight so he actually just prefers to play with it without using the little nerfs inside because he doesn't want to lose them but it is so cool to see the shells pop out! And making the targets go down has been a real hit in the house!

Well this is just fun. Has a good quality feel to it. Easy for all ages to play with and it shoots straight...

My boy loves it. Now like to play sheriff with it. Has 100 bullets which is probably too many but I’ll keep them in storage in case my son loose some. It seems sturdy, my son has been dropping it here and there and still has no damage.
