The Easter bunny brought 2 sets of these for my 4 and 6 year olds. And I got them on sale! Less than $12 a piece. I would easily pay full price for these.ProsThe box turns into the play space. Less mess!!There is plenty of sand to make great castles.The castles are sturdy and great quality.Easy to clean up!!Keeps my little ones busy for a while.Did I mention it's easy to clean this up??Have you ever had playdoh smushed into your carpets and bits everywhere? Have you ever had slime on a brand new couch? (vinegar solves the problem btw) Because I have. I practically cry when they want to play playdoh because it gets everywhere. But kinetic sand is so different and easy to clean. Oh yeah, now the cons.ConsJust buy this! It's freaking wonderful!!!!!!

My granddaughter loves this stuff! Get various things to mold in the sand and big trays to hold the sand, so kids can play with the sand around the house or out on the deck. It does not make as bad a mess as one would think.

This set is so cute! My son had been asking for his own kinetic sand so we finally caved despite dreading the mess. The mess actually hasn’t been bad at all!! I set up a tray with the sand and some shells and the pieces this set comes with and he played with it all for HOURS the first day!! He kept going back to the tray throughout the day! He was so entertained and excited about it. It’s even fun and relaxing for me to sit and play some with the sand with him. He really loves it! He has since requested sand everyday since we got it and he hasn’t been bored yet. It’s not messy and I love that it doesn’t really stick to your hands. It’s a really fun texture! This would make a great gift!

Okay, so I'm an adult and my grandchildren introduced me to Kinetic sand. It is the best ever! This product feels like beach sand, which is kinda cool and the molds are fun for the kids to play with. However, I sit at the table and kneed the sand the entire time they are playing with it. if I'm having a really bad day, I can REALLY KNEED it, I can name it BOB! I love to feel it slip through my fingers and it costs me less than a therapy session!!! The greatest part is, I get to spend time with my grandkids and they don't know if I'm having a good or bad day! Everyone should KNEED it!! ;)

We wanted kinetic sand for our children, and this sand with a few little toys was virtually the same price as a bag of sand by itself.The little toys are fun enough as molds for little sand castles and such. The box is a little disappointing as a little sandbox. I know we live in an age where a tiny plastic container could cost several dollars by itself, but that would make it a far better toy. Additionally, despite my immense care in opening the box, the glue ripped off some of the outer layer of cardboard so the little sandbox is not pretty enough for us careful perceived l perfectionists. Anyway, I can't imagine using an unsealed cardboard box to store kinetic sand, so I put the sand back in its original bag and we'll just buy another plastic bin to use as the sandbox.If you haven't given kinetic sand to your child and you're a first timer with this stuff, I recommend a plastic container that can be used for both play and storage. Kids have a hard time containing the stuff and you will probably have to clean up a little if your child is younger than 7 years old, but it's not so bad. I'd buy this product again and recommend it, though it's not spectacular. Try to wait for a sale price or just get a bag of kinetic sand and add your own little toys and molds.

So I like that this was super clean up especially on carpet when the little dropped some. It didn’t stick at all and I was able to pick it up and put it back in the bin we used for it. It didn’t have much of a smell to me which was nice, though it did have a scent of some sort, grape perhaps. The little has a great time with it. The toys it came with were easy to put the sand in and dump out of the mold without sticking.When the little dropped some in a cup of water I thought It would be ruined but we let it sit over night on a paper towel and it was as good as new.I did leave to the other side of the room for a second as lost horror stories begin in the life of a parent.. and the little must have dropped some and the dog ate it. I’m saying this is a 3 lb box and our dog ate over 2 lbs 😑 it’s non toxic. But you have to monitor for blockage. Our dog first puked it up outside 15 min after consuming then ate it before I could clean it. I was up all night with the dog who had trouble puking / excreting. At the vet the next day to be sure he was ok, It glows on the X-ray just FYI. Thankfully dog passed everything naturally. But just beware for pet owners.

The media could not be loaded. My 3yr old loves it. I am surprised that it is not sticky or slimy or gooey.**Tip-Just keep it in an air tight container or ziploc after playing.It is a great sensory play with lots of calming and soothing feel to the mind. Kids can play hours with this and also it DOES NOT DRY OUT. Kids can make easily different things over and over again.Grown ups can also use as an anti-stress too.Cleans up easily. Holds shape nicely. I will definitely recommend it. Great product at good price.

Honestly, I was very hesitant on purchasing this item because as a mom, the thought of sand in the house made me want to cringe lol. I was looking for something for my sons birthday and I wanted something that was going to hold his attention longer than a few minutes. Well let me say, I am so glad I purchased this! The sand is soft and squishy, making it easy to mold. It slips out of the molds easily and doesn’t stick to hands or surfaces. I even found small clumps of it on the carpet and just bent down and picked it up and put it back in the tub (this item doesn’t come with this inflatable tub, I purchased that separately). Another thing I love about this sand is that it NEVER dries out and constantly stays moist. This is so much fun for kids as well as adults. It’s virtually mess free. Two thumbs up!!
