ANDERSON MARINE V168A LED Clearance Light Amber

Aside from the lack of shipping information the lights look great and are just the right size to replace the original marker lights on my boat trailer's fenders.The original LED marker light was broken when it bumped a large rock.Needed to replace it and was concerned about finding one of the same size this one fills the bill nicely.The leads are nice and long but not too long. It has both a negative and positive wire only fault is they are not labeled and the colors are nonstandard.All in all I am very satisfied with the Lights.They are supplied by an American Company but made in China.

I have several of these in red and amber. The light output isn't as good as competing incandescent side markers. The tiny size is a problem as would take very little dirt or snow to block. The plastic is thick enough that it should hold up to moderate abuse. I would not trust them to survive off road use. One advantage is that these use 68 mA at 12V. For use at nominal 24v I use 200 ohm 1 watt resistor in series.

Just installed these on my saltwater trailer the other day. Two wires, white and yellow (power) about 5 inches long look like they are epoxied into the back of the chip and seem to be waterproof. As i have not immersed the trailer yet, will update my review once I start using the trailer. The lights are clearly visible during the day, two amber LEDs put out good light in bright conditions.
