epson printer doesn't recognize cartridges
I bought this ink about a year ago, i like to plan in advance. i just put it into my printer, and it doesn't recognize the cartridges, no matter how many times i tried to reinstall. $180 and i can't even exchange? it was packed this whole time.

Incompatible with Epson SC-P600 Color Photo Printer
The cartridges could not be recognized by my SC-P600 printer. I called Epson and they told me there was a chip in the Official Epson ink cartridges that was necessary to work in the printer. What a rip off since the official cartridges are $100. more for the set. I am going to trash the printer which has barely been used rather than pay Epson $279. for a new set of cartridges.

Do not buy this
I have purchase this because of the price but the machine can not read them so you might as well have trow your money in the garbage can even though you can see that the cartridge is full of ink. It is literally a scam.
