Westgate Lighting 12 Watt 4" inch Recessed Lighting Kit Dimmable LED Retrofit Downlight with Integrated Smooth Trim 120V (3500K Neutral White 1 Pack)

I bought these on January 14th 2018, almost a year ago today. (Its 12/31/18 at the time of review) these lights are a true 500K as they are pure white with no yellow or blue. The white colour is amazing and clean. No flicker or delay. It gets cold in the winter and warm in the summer and these lights have performed flawlessly. I installed them over my bench / work area and could not be more happy. For "Garage Cave" people, these are perfect! Lighting is important to us specially when fabricating something, we need to clearly see what we are doing, fixing, making, dismantling, and putting back together. I used 4 inch lights and went every 24 inches apart to keep shadows away when working. On a blue sky day, specially in the winter, its hard to tell if the light is from the sun or from the lights as the colour is right on. Buy them you won't be disappointed, if you like true 6500K.I used "Sunco Lighting" 4 inch cans and they fit perfect. The tabs on the lights dig into the can well and they have yet to drop after a year. I have walked in the attic of the garage, installed other things and used a hammer a lot - nailing wire throughout, added bracing and etc; no dropping, drooping, or gaps!**update. My goof, I meant "true 6500K as they are pure white" NOT 500K..

when they say daylight they mean it . they are as close to true daylight as I have found. they actually wash out the color in the room to some degree. when I buy the next batch in a month or so I will order the 5000K instead and mix both of them in each room to add a little tiny bit of the yellow spectrum (soft white) back into the room. as for the design --they are as easy to put in as replacing a regular light bulb.price is great compared with home depot

Love the 6500K color. Using four in the bathroom and 4 in the kids room. Works well with Dimmer. Amazon has a lot of 5000K lights and was looking for 6500K and found these. Have been happy with it. Color difference between 5000K and 6500K is noticeable to me.Was missing an E26 adapter in one of the packages and the customer service was quick to send me one in a expedited fashion.

Replaced old halogen lights with a transformer. Old units were huge and cumbersome. These LEDs are compact and easy to install if your wiring is ready. Light is good and works well with my old dimmer!
